A good guide for new scrum masters

I kind of feel bad giving this such a low review, but I honestly feel it’s warranted.Physical Book: Seemed like any other book I get from Amazon, but once I started reading pages just started falling out. And not just like a “oops I missed 1 or 2,” but a lot of pages. This made it incredibly frustrating to read. I didn’t want to put in a replacement request simply because I don’t feel the price was really warranted and it doesn’t have a ton of rereadability to me. I want to say I just got an anomaly, but the amount of pages makes me thing this is a larger issue.Content: The content was great as it offered a detailed look at the intangibles of being a scrum master with some decent examples. The author also offers tons of follow-on reading including on subjects that are not just scrum related. HOWEVER, there are just as many grammatical problems in the book as pages falling out, and that makes it, again, frustrating.If these problems were solved, it was a 4/5, but as it stands, it’s a gracious 2.

I am a Scrum Master and bought this book as psrt of my personal development. Right away I loved this book. The tone and the readability are enjoyable: it reminded me of basics that we sometimes stray from in business as usual life, and also gave me insight to areas of focus to improve myself.

This book doesn’t cover everything about a scrum master but it has the basics. If you buy it, make sure you will have to buy more books to have a greater foundation
