Great unit for a large Family if you have the kitchen space as it is fairly large double fryer.Easy to use, assemble/disassemble and heats to set temp rapidly.We have only used veg oil so far in it, various dishes for deep frying, my Fav is fish and chips but be aware do not use the heat directions for certain foods like we did to start with.French fries cook great around 135 not the 143 stated on temp control cover and shake a few times until the colour and texture needed.Fish also as well as chicken in forms of coating reduce the temp.We had trial and error with temps but now a fine art and a joy to use, very fast with 2 large pans gets the job done.I will not revert back to other types of fryers and I have had them all.The cleaning aspect after draining oil for new after many uses is a little time consuming but patiance needed hence I got the Wife to do this because I lack patiance.When cleaned and new oil poured ready for use it looks great.It is easily wiped down after cooling though on outside.All in all we are happy with it as we have a large kitchen and area for it near an open window to vent off the steam affect in use.In fairness something I have not tried is placing it on top of kitchen hob, 4 ring type with the advantages of the above extractor but it's not a light unit to move around back and forth with oil in both pans.My likes is the spicy coated chicken my Wife prepares and I fry.I'm aware to keep a pan separate for the fish and chips so not to change the flavours until it's oil change time..Hope this helpful.

This was my first fryer. Works very well. The fryer was easy to set up and heats up relatively quickly. The large basket is great, allows for lots of fries! I cannot wait to find more recipes to try!

I love this Fryer! I had been using it ever sense the first day it came! Easy to use and works really well. Makes great fried food!
