Paintworks Paint by Number, Happy Halloween

I bought this for myself and my mother-in-law. She is the paint-by-number expert. I loved this picture but have absolutely no patience to paint it. So, I got it for her to paint (which she was excited to do) and for me to enjoy on my walls. It was a win/win situation. I know it will not be too hard for her as she has done pictures far more difficult.

I returned it but never received a refund.

Received this yesterday. All the paints were dry.

The pattern was easy to read on the canvas, but the paper guide that came with it was not the picture I was painting (although a photograph of the correct painting was on the incorrect guide). Not enough paint--ran out of black, but I had my own which actually flowed better on the canvas. Use your own brushes. Oh and be careful when you iron canvas (as recommended) to get creases out--mine shrank in places and won't lay flat. The finished picture was not very detailed and really didn't look like the photo. I ended up using a black paint marker to fill in and it looks better.I'd already bought a second kit from this company, but won't buy another one

Ordinarily, I don't write a review of a paint by number until I have completed it, but this kit is an exception because there are three excellent features that the seller does not mention. First, the canvas is color coded to help you find numbers. Second, the paint is rich in texture and covers without touch up, and third, both a clear photo a and fully detailed printout of the canvas are included.

I have bought many paintworks paint by number kit and each one of them come on a thick cardboard printed canvas and has enough paint to last through entire painting. These aren't the same. Beware of people saying Paintworks brand on their listing because the actual Paintworks by dimensions is a good quality kit. Also, I don't want my new painting to be folded even losely.
