Are the hose AND bulb food grade?

Hello, the hose is food grade. The Bulb is not certified as food grade although it is a benign rubber which is typical in food machinery for gaskets and other uses. Siphon Pro is designed to have the bulb start the flow and then be removed from the circuit and let the hose due the work.

I'm looking to siphon gas from my car tank to a gas can, will this do it? And efficiently?? If not, then what product do you suggest?

If your car has a capless filler DON'T use this. The hose will get stuck and cost you to get it removed. See my one star review for details. I want to use this for my hydration pack instead of a bite valve. Tubing and bulb are food grade? Will it affect the taste of the water?

the tubing looks to be food grade but the primer bulb is the same as used on outboard motors so my guess is you will have a "garden hose" taste.

Does the end of the hose have to be lower than what is to be siphoned? I have a waterfall which is pretty much at ground level.

Yes. Even an inch will do it but it has to be lower than the top of the liquid.
