Gold
I read this book about 2 or maybe 3 years ago. I was looking for a way to profit from gold. I would say if you dont know anything or very little about gold this would be a good book for you. I did learn a few things about the history of gold. I had hoped that more info about how to buy and sell gold would be included, thats not to say there was none. You will have a place to start with this book and a good history of gold in general.

Total disappointment.
Bought this book as new but it arrived without the corresponding slipcase. Unable to know if all inserts are present. Total disappointment.

Colorful information mishmash easily available from free sources on the Internet--especially the Wikipedia article on gold. Barely a three star production.

5 Thumbs Up!
If you are an experienced Gold bug, or just starting out, this will be a wonderful addition to your precious metals and coins research library. It is definitely not your run-of-the-mill book. It is a blend of excellent information in a unique and attractive form. Every page is filled with beautiful images, and helpful text. All of the pullouts and small compact fact cards (for example: “Melt value of Gold Jewelry and scrap, per Pennyweight” and “Bullion Values of Common U.S. Gold Coins”) are designed to help you quickly find useful data when buying or selling Gold. The book explains why Gold is valuable, provides facts on the recent Gold Boom, gives advice on buying and selling Gold, dealing with experts, and how to avoid counterfeits and altered gold coins. The book is 120 pages and this second edition was published in 2017, making the information inside pretty fresh. I give the book and authors, Jeff Garrett and Q. David Bowers five thumbs up. This is a fun read and one of my favorite books on the subject.
