Dalrymple at his best.
Brilliant book. I love the bibbly bobbly sci fi wonk. Well written and beautifully illustrated. I am finding I like all of Dalrymple’s stuff but this one stands out.

A confusing graphic novel with a story that I could not follow
*I received this book as an eARC from Image Comics via Edelweiss*I'm not familiar with Farel Dalrymple's work. After reading some other reviews, it appears that this story connects to past works. I found myself confused most of the time I was reading this graphic novel. The art is sketchy and mind-minding. It's very unique and changes throughout the book to reflect the tone of the story. This story seems to deal with multiple dimensions and time/space travel. There's both magic and technology.Although I found the art style very interesting, I could not follow the story. It was very trippy. Maybe if I reread it slower and really took the time on each page to try and decipher what was happening I could have understood the story better. I give this graphic novel a 2/5. It wasn't for me, but maybe it's your style.

An outstanding sci-fi fantasia
There's an amazing dream-like quality to Farel's work, and it's on full-display in this graphic novel. On its surface it's a meandering sci-fi story about a group adolescents and assorted misfits stuck on a space station in the distant future, but the real joy of this tale is the mundane worries of of its teenage protagonist that anybody can relate to--the self-doubt and self-loathing, the social anxieties. Mixed together with genuinely creepy set pieces and wondrous art, it will be a book you turn to again and again just to discover something new.

Read this
A must read for anyone who has read Farels past work. I found this to be a great companion to IWAH or even wrenchies. Art is some of his best and the story was like sci fi meets eraser head.. Its hard to find comics that feel genuine and unique in a market where 90% of comics are kinda trash. If you want something that is true to comic books as an artistic medium this is for you.
