Worked great for us!
We ordered these tie downs for our boat, our other tie downs we have had for about 10 years. We did a little research before purchasing these and found they were a bit expensive online. We found this seller on Amazon and was very very impressed. They came with the high quality webbing as stated and the ends were coated to prevent scratching. We did not notice any scratching what so ever and were happy with their performance. The ratcheting and self locking design was also very nice. We felt comfortable using these on our boat for our drive to the lake for our vacation. We did read some of the reviews prior but felt like this product held up very well. I do not see a problem with them. We would most definitely buy from them again if we needed to purchase more tie downs or other products. A+ product and seller. Thank you againAll of my reviews are written with the hope of helping other Amazon customers make the right buying decisions for themselves. To help increase awareness of a particular product it might be positive or negative, but in the end it is honest. I was not compensated for my review and all my opinions are my own. I hope this has helped you in some way. If you have any questions please feel free to ask, I will get back to you. I will leave a update after a few more trips to the lake as far as how well they are holding up with time.

They should do the job
Have a 14' aluminum fishing boat and have always used straps like these. I saved a few bucks but dont feel as confident as the Cabelas brand ones on my other boat. I'm sure they'll work, but I've already had to fiddle with the buckle when snapping into place on installation. Only added 10 seconds, but shaved 10 seconds of reliability. It didnt break, but it needed to be fixed. Hopefully it's not a trend every time I use them. Time will tell. But as I said, they should work and do the job, so i guess that's a win.

Work very well and tight, but I added a small modification to make better.
These transom tie downs work very well. As other reviewers have stated, these are not a ratchet-type tie down but, rather, a strong snap closure that pulls the strap as tight as a ratchet. They're much quicker on & off than the ratchet-type. The velcro closures are helpful for securing the excess strapping. The straps are plenty wide; wider than a $15 ratchet set (of four) that I got from HD. My only complain is that once you snap close the tightening/locking latch, there is not much protection underneath to prohibit scratching the boat. I fixed that w/ two 8" x 6" rubber pieces cut from an old rubber door mat, and slide one piece under each tie down before a snap it closed. It works perfectly!

Great for smaller boats and jet skis
These straps work great for keeping your boat/seadoo in place on the trailer. They aren't ratcheting straps so they don't get super tight but they keep it from bouncing up. The reason I only give them 4 stars is because the handle that you push down to tighten them has released twice from bumping them. They have never come open on the road though and that is what matters! They do go on quick and come off quick and I would recommend them for a smaller boat or a waverunner. I would probably go with a ratchet design strap for a bigger boat.

Works well, saved my boat.
For $20 bucks I can't be mad at them... They are easy to use and look nice. Lost the trailer/boat at 50mph and the back of the boat tried to jump up but these held it in place for the most part...you can see I. The pic the weight of th boat bent the buckle but the boat was still on the trailer when it came to rest... the buckles that tighten the straps were done for. Like I said though, they did there job when it counted and if it cost $20 to replace them each time they save my boat I say that's worth it!

Strap In for the Ride
These straps are installed on the transom of my Key West 1720, a 17 ft center console fishing boat. The straps are easily and quicky adjustable and lock securely with the cam lock. Flip the cam lever and the straps are rigid. The cam lever has a velcro strap, which can be used to secure the lever too. I do use the velcro strap and also use the excess strap (running end) to tie a knot around the cam lever for extra measure. It may be "over kill" but a ounce of prevention, as they say. I trailer my boat on highways (65 mph), bumpy back roads and the straps have never failed me by inadvertently releasing during transit.
