Quilt in A Day 3000 Sew Straight

Simply thrilled with this item. I tried using painter’s tape which was an ugly mess. I also tried the “other” fix that was recommended in other reviews. Complete garbage. This came in the mail this morning and I was stunned. It was exactly what I needed. I stuck it on my extended table after lining it up, using the sticky pads that came with it. I left the section over the bobbin unglued so I could easily lift the item to replace bobbins. My embroidery guide sails right over it without it touching at all. Works like a charm! I finally have a sweet 1/4” seam marker at a great price! It’s perfect and I could not be happier. Every quilter should get this little darlin’.

I LOVE this ruler! The ruler is exactly as described and very each to use. Before this ruler, I was pre-marking my quilt blocks so I would ensure I was stitching a straight diagonal line. I was skeptical at first when I received the ruler until I placed it on my sewing machine and started sewing. It was so easy. I placed the ruler on my machine per the provided instructions, and then guided my fabric through my machine following the ruler guidelines. It worked! I am literally saving so much time not having to pre-mark my fabric; and, I am sewing in straight lines. If you are new to sewing or need a guide to sew a straight line, I recommend this product.

Pros: Works well for quick bias sewing and quick triangles. Thin enough to cut to fit machine and bobbin holder. Cons: the adhesive does not want to come off. Thick adhesive squares which makes the guide stick up from the surface. Not a big deal most of the time, but I have gotten many a fabric clip stuck on the edge and jabbed my hand when I was maneuvering a blanket. I would easily give it five stars if I could have a removal stick on the grid...or at least all the edges.

this has made my 1/4" seam allowance so much easier to stay consistent. some of the bad reviews were about the gummies to stick it down. really.... I didn't use those I just put a small bit of painters tape and good to go. what's the old saying, some people complain when their hung by a new rope? anyway, works great for me! I have a slide on table for my Pfaff so just slide it over, change bobbin, then slide table back and sew away! thank you Sew Straight.

I want sure at first that I'd like this but it's turned out to be a great tool. I love it for sewing diagonal. It's so easy to line up the ending tip with the line and keeping it lined up and you get a great straight seam. I can see myself using it more and more.

Helpful, easy to install (apply) - easy to use - easy to remove. Checked the unit I made by using this against the units I made by marking the seam (on the 45 degree angle) and they are 'identical'! Said the happy woman who will mark her fabrics but prefers not to. In fact I am ordering one for a Dear one (so she can keep her grubby paws off of mine). Update - edit - just made two blocks for the quilt I'm working on. Using this tool isn't "just as accurate" as marking, but MORE precise! My 'dutch rose variation' blocks came out a perfect 16.5 inches, so they will (should) finish at a perfect 16 inches! YAY! Now, I'm thinking about all the other blocks I love that feature the 45 degree angle piecing - because it takes less time to do them since I don't need to mark them. YAY!

I first saw this advertised at a large store in Portland and then watched a YouTube video of its use before purchasing it. I am currently making a Christmas tree quilt that requires constant diagonal sewing. This small, inexpensive item makes a huge difference in both accuracy and time savings. My blocks have come together beautifully. If you are tired of marking diagonal lines when quilting, this is the perfect product for you.

Easy to put on sewing machine and following the markings it’s always a perfect seam!

This is such a simple tool, but it works exactly as described. I have about 100+ Flying Geese to make and this tool makes them so simple. I recommended this to my quilting friends. Bonus is that it is really inexpensive.

This guide is very easy to fit - the sticky pads keep it secure. I like the ability to change the bobbin without removing the guide.
