HerschelGrade Messenger Bag

Can’t go wrong buying a Herschel bag, and this one is no exception. Great quality for the price point. There’s a pocket on the outside of the bag making those go-to items easily accessible without opening the bag. A lot of people complained about the “loudness” of opening the bag, but honestly that is a preferential issue and has nothing to do with the quality of the bag. The velcro closure is VERY secure, hence the extra noise when opening bag. Inside, there is plenty of space with another decent sized pocket to store your smaller items. My only improvement would be the strap clip, which is a bit loose, but nothing a little manual manipulation won’t fix.

Great quality and great purchase price was super reasonable. I use it as a carrying bag for my laptop and accessories most of the accessories fit in the zippered section of the bag and my laptop has plenty of space

Bought the dusty rose color. Love the bag! Bought it for work. Sucks my laptop doesnt fit inside and not a huge fan of the front flap being velcro but personal preference. Otherwise, happy with my purchase.

The mid is not too small, not too big. I am a junk whore and this bag has room enough for all my stuff. The only thing I don’t like about this bag is that the strap clip doesn’t stay put, so the strap, which seems really long, is often hanging into oblivion. This bag is sturdy and well put together. Overall I like it, and I would buy it again.

This is a big bag! Much bigger than I expected, but that’s ok. I bought it because the price was so good with no real purpose for it. Still trying to figure out a use. It’s about 3” deep which makes it hard to use as a computer bag as it’s pretty wide open inside. But it seems really well made.

I wanted to love this bag.The thing that ultimately turned me away was the velcro. It cheapened the entire Herschel quality experience as I opened and closed it and was warped back to my childhood strapping on my 90's velcro snow boots. If the velcro was replaced with their magnetic small snap buckles similar to the backpacks, this could be a messenger bag to end all debates about highest quality messenger bags. I loved the signature candy cane interior fabric, the size of the bag inside, the side pocket, and comfortable over body carry feel.I didn't like that there wasn't a dedicated padded sleeve or compartment to put a laptop like there is in the backpack. It made me worried about setting the bag down with my laptop inside or something impacting it. The strap fittings also only fit for someone who wants an over body carry versus a shoulder carry or vers carry transportation.I love Herschel but I have to return it for the velcro overall. Sorry Herschel =(

Love it! I’m so glad I went with the mid-volume one and not the mini. It’s the perfect size for what I wanted. I was downsizing from the Hershel diaper bag since my toddler is potty trained and we don’t need to bring as much stuff now. It fits a couple of her outfits, some snacks, my sunglasses, etc. with room for me to throw in my wallet and phone when I don’t wanna carry a purse also!

My search for a good work bag has ended. Large enough to carry everything I need, but small enough to stash in work locker. Yes the Velcro is a bit loud, but now I will know if anyone tries to steal my snacks.

I love Hershel bags and this camo design was quite hard to find because it is out of season. This is my favourite bag now!

I bought it knowing it might not be big enough for my laptop but surprisingly my 14" laptop fits! It's a big snug but I'm able to keep my work stuff in the bag and it feels protected. Worth it!

Surprisingly cheap looking and not very durable

Love this messenger bag.. I primarily used to carry around my iPad Pro and my action camera.

Good quality and a perfect over the shoulder size.
