Supplements, Beta 1,3/1,6- D-Glucan 100 mg with Maitake Mushrooms, 90 Veg Capsules

Breastfeeding on demand (day and night) for a year is leaving my body depleted, and my immune system was shot since months. The same day of taking this product i noticed improved health (and i normally take zinc and mega vitamin C). And within 24 hours much better. My child also seems to have lowered immune system compared to when new born, nothing out of the ordinary, apparently this is normal (??), i hope this product goes through the milk. I found there is a Noregean company "Immuno Medic" that makes Beta Glucan syrup for children from 1 years of age and up, with dosage of 30 mg. So apparently you could feed Beta Glucan to your baby at appropriate dosages. I will update if there are any adverse effects. For exhausted breastfeeding mothers i recommend: Fermented cod liver /butter oil blend, and L-glutathione also. Always do your research, and test take before committing. Update 07/13/2013 I discovered the reason i had been so depleted was because i was eating too much grains. As soon as i reduced these i started to feel much better. With my baby, i stopped taking milk products for a while (she had been slightly allergic to milk), and this seemed to help. However it is important to take dairy products right away because of the significant amounts calcium/phosphate that vegetables do NOT provide (yes even greens). I no longer recommend spinach because of its high oxalic acid content that will bind to the calcium in the digestive system. The beta glucan really helped. I ended up giving my baby 1/2 of the capsule, and she was fine with this.

This may seem a little crazy but after doing some research I found out that many holistic vets recommend beta glucan as a supplement to keep dogs healthy and alive for many more years. My sweet dog Sunny was recently diagnosed with diabetes so I was searching for anything to help him and came across many articles on beta glucan. Initially he was having stomach issues and vomiting so I had him on a little Benadryl but after reading that it wasn’t so good for dogs I tried 1/4 of a teaspoon of this instead. To my surprise and delight the stomach issues and allergies cleared up and he seems happier, healthier, and more energetic! If you are thinking about this for your pet please consult your vet first as I’m not a vet but you may find it very helpful as I sure did!

I love now foods supplements, and have been using them for years. I purchased 3 bottles of this to help lower my cholesterol. I had to quit taking this after a couple of weeks because of all the smelly gas it gave me. An excellent product, just didn't work out for me! Lol

I love this brand and they have it in 100 mg and 200 mg and when i was fighting breast cancer 200mg really benenfited me it helped my body find the cancer faster and the eliminate it and this my personal discovery so i don’t know if it will help anyone else but ever since i added this into my daily suppliment my tumor Are shrinking and i didnt see results untill couple months but i been purchasing this product for over 6 months now and i have blood work to prove this has been helping me or atleast contributing to my health more then just placebo that for sure but diet is also key but if your living healthy then u should be taking this it truly prevent colds for me atleast

My rating for flavor and swallow does not apply to my use, so that said, this a product that eveey one should be taking. Me, my dog take it. What it does for the immune system is superior. I can tell you that I have not had a sick day in at least 20 years. My dog is 13 years old and everyone thinks he is half that age. Give it a try, what do you have to loose.

We've used this brand of Beta Glucan (with the maitake mushrooms in it) for over 15 years. Long ago I had strep throat 4 times in a 2 month period. After the 3rd antibiotic and getting it again the 4th time, I went to a Naturopath and explained what had gone on for the previous couple of months, this is what I was given. The strep throat went away and didn't come back. My kids are so used to this being in the house, that even if they wake up with a sore throat due to sinus drainage, they'll take this and the pain, is gone by the next morning. If anyone is sick, we typically take 2 capsules/3 times a day. My mother tried other brands and other combinations...some were $50 a bottle, but she always came back to this one.

Been using this product/brand for years to boast my immune system. I rarely have a cold or am sick. I take one a day unless I feel a cold coming on and then I take 2 and sometimes 3 a day for a day or two until the symptoms subside. The price on Amazon is cheaper than I can find locally or elsewhere online. We have Amazon Prime so it's here in two days when I need to reorder. Highly recommend Now brand.. other brands are way over priced/less potent. Now Beta G has proven effective for me over the years.
