All-in-one personal tea cup with built-in tea strainer for unique tea tasting experience. Made of high quality borosilicate glass can withstand high and low temperatures. Known for its heat resistance and physical durability, borosilicate glass is useful in many applications mostly involved with temperature changes. The material owes its strength and resistance to its unique combination of silica, boric oxide, among various other oxides. The presence of boron oxide to replace some of the oxide components enhances the binding forces within the glass material. Compared to similar glassware, borosilicate glass can withstand blunt force impact better.

A game changer!
TL;DR: If I could give this thing 7 stars I would. This little strainer has literally changed my life! How do you make tea? I know, I know - but bear with me. I guess most people just put a tea bag in a cup of hot water and viola! Done? Not quite. First and foremost the tea in the teabags is not really good tea. Come to think of it - it's not even tea at all, people just call it that. So yeah, lets focus on the real deal, the loose leaf kind.Well, you'll say. I just take a teapot, throw some real good leaves in it and enjoy my well-deserved cup in peace. And that was me, just several month ago. But the thing is, once you get hooked on The Really Good Stuff, the problem is you want to have it all the time.So I wanted to have my fancy wonderful Tie Guan Yin Oolong in the office. And that's the catch. Shall I bring my own teapot to work? Where do I keep it? How do I clean it. Is that too weird? I only had an answer to the last question - yes, it is.For a while I mucked around with those metal strainers - but those are a mess at their best. And talk about looking weird...But then I just stumbled upon this 15 buck miracle. OMG! Just1. Put some leaves inside.2. Pour hot water.3. Let it sit for 90 seconds.4. Calculate how much money you going to save by skipping Starbucks twice a day.5. Strain it out in a cup.Repeat every 2 hours. Caffeine nirvana! The size is perfect for a cup of tea. And it's so convenient for high-grade leaves that you can reuse - just keep the leaves in the strainer - those look very cool. So cool, actually, that this leads me to the only downside of getting it - you'll get questions about it all the time. Moreover, I was basically coerced into getting one for a otherwise nice colleague (You know who you are! Shame on you! :-)).Even the glass on this thing is special: I was expecting tea to stain the transparent glass, like it does with the ceramic cups. But it's been 3 months and the strainer still looks like new. What kind of magic is that?Basically, just get two. That cute girl from accounting will want one as well. After you rave about it for a month non-stop, of course.

Handy Brewing Cup
I wasn't sure if this would work for me, but I like it for "big leaf teas" like oolong. The glass is not super thick, in fact it's daintily thin, but seems like it will hold up well.My only gripe is that it is missing a pouring spout. It would be perfect with a small pouring spout on the strainer side. As it is designed now, it dribbles tea down the side every time I pour.
