I wish I could give this 6 stars! Well worth the money! As an experienced knitter of over 40 years, I can highly recommend this bag, which I purchased at full price for myself. This is a really well made, quality item, and it's been well thought out by people who know what knitters need. The fabric is good and strong, all the zips have double zippers and are good quality. Paying extra to have the lidded version is well worth it, there's even a zipped section in the lid itself!If, like me, you have more than one project on the go, this bag will accommodate them easily. I can see that it would also be brilliant for intarsia knitting as you could keep different yarns separate - there are 6 holes for the yarn - 2 for chunky yarns, and 4 for DK/Aran and thinner yarns, so if you were knitting intarsia with DK in 6 colours, you have separate hole for each thus avoiding tangling.The outer compartments are all well thought out, the needle compartment accommodates standard length needles, sectioned for keeping sizes separate, with a transparent cover to protect the body of the bag from getting rubbed by the needle heads. The back pocket easily takes a full size pattern, I think it would take a magazine or booklet too.If you use crochet hooks (I do to correct wrong or dropped stitches) there's a side pocket with slots for them - these could also be used for circular knitting needles, esp the detachable type.I cannot recommend this highly enough! This one is best for knitters, as I have seen similiar others but with more spaces for crochet hooks.Yes, the price may seem high, but it really is worth it. I did not get this item free, or in exchange for a review.

It is lovely and I cant wait to actually use it, sadly it arrived damaged so I have had to return it. I will be reordering.

Very happy with this! Nice and roomy inside with separate compartments for lots of yarn balls and a work in progress. I haven’t filled all the compartments on the outside yet as I’m a novice knitter & only have one crochet hook (I’m not a crocheter) but that fits snugly in the elasticated holds. I have a few sets of knitting needles and they all fit well in the allocated compartments, along with my other sundries. There’s a large pocket at the back in which I have placed my knitting patterns. This comes with both a removable shoulder strap and integral carry handles although I won’t be using the shoulder strap so will remove it.The colour is as it appears in the original ad although I wish it had been available in other spotted colours e.g. pink, lime green, sky blue or orange.The zips seem sturdy. The one thing which appears different to the ad photo is the inner clear plastic; on my bag the plastic is opaque (see photo) which isn’t an issue but I would have preferred it clear as in the ad photo.Would I recommend this? Yes! :-)

I was slightly hesitant at paying so much for a knitting bag and am a self confessed fussy quality person. Wow! It is very strong fabric and 2-way zips throughout. Designed by a fellow knitter is clear and so many good deep useful compartments all over; inside and outside the bag. You won’t be disappointed if ordering this great bag.

Perfect Portable Project Place!What a fantastic project bag.In short - worth the money. Very lightweight and strong, big but not cumbersome. Lots of compartments! Very well designed. So far, no complaints.**WOULD RECOMMEND HAVING SOME OTHER CASES TO ORGANISE THINGS INSIDE THE BAG**A year into crochet, the projects are mounting, the equipment more so... and my hook collection is somewhat out of hand - shoulder bags dotted around the house no more!Plenty of different pockets to put Tunisian crochet hooks/knitting needles, standard crochet hooks, and all of the tools you could need.The pockets in the main section are great too, with a clear "lid" that covers it, yarn holes to work it through, and a separate zip for the other spacious section.Basically, it's just brilliant. No more projects or hooks in different bags, one bag - ready to go anywhere.
