Finding our Way through the Dark (2008)

This book has many significant insights into the different "dark energies" in astrology. However, the primary value that I find is its addressing of the "lunation cycle". After cross-referencing information about the lunation cycle with my own chart, as well as charts of my friends and family, I'm astounded at it's significance and accuracy. There is no single factor that I've found in my studies of astrology that are as significant and RELIABLY accurate as the lunation cycle. Why is it not fundamental in beginning astrology literature? Every student of astrology should be familiar with the lunation cycle.I have this and two other books on the lunation cycle, incuding Rudhyar's, and this book by Demetra George is the one that I always come back to. It's one of my "top shelf" astrology books. It's clearly written and has fantastic insights. Highly recommended.All of that said, I should also warn you that there are an embarrasing number of spelling and punctuation errors. Be prepared for that! Then, don't let it bother you and continue on to the heart of what is being taught.

I love this book. Full of moon and Goddess wisdom! This is an invaluable tool for women who are seeking to reclaim and go deeper into Goddess energy and women's healing using the power of the moon. I would recommend this book to any woman who wishes to embark upon that journey.Demetra George is truly gifted in tying in these concepts along while also being able to make multiple esoteric connections.

I love everything Demetra George touches. That being said, this edition had so many typos that I started to wonder if this is not an official print of this book. There was a typo every few pages, and they weren’t subtle…to the point of it being a distraction in the reading experience. I’ve read most of Demetra’s books and have never encountered one typo, let alone countless in such a short book. Something is shady with this one AMAZON 😡
