Dakine Mayhem Knee Pad - Black, X-Large

It's winter in the North East, so they're not trail tested yet, but trying them on, they fit very well. They seem bulky compared to my previous knee pads, but tried them out on the Spin Bike, and my legs don't feel restricted at all. I dont think i'll have any issue wearing these and pedaling. They will not be worn on every ride, these will be for the technical rocky trails, and the Downhill adventures at the bike park.

Activity

I was looking for a new set of pads for enduro and downhill riding. I wanted something with decent protection on the sides of the knee. These pads have substantial side of knee protection as well as above the knee and upper shin. The knee cap protector is a nice feature and allows your knee to slide when contacting an obstacle vice catching and twisting. The articulation between the hard knee protector and the thigh helps make this pad better for pedaling than many others.
