Biased Book
This book is extremely biased towards anyone who is in the minority who would like to use racism as an excuse for lack of economic success and as an advocate for crime. If the government wouldn't encourage the loss of the father in the home by rewarding the mother with financial welfare, housing and food stamps and take away that aide if he (the father) is living there, then perhaps he would live there more often than not. This book seeks to indoctrinate the young college mind into white shame. For example, in the book it says that saying "I'm black and I'm proud," conotates pride of your race and heritage. But to say "I'm white and I'm proud," infers feelings of white supremacy and advocating for radical groups such as the KKK. I was raised in the South and I have never known anyone in the KKK. So why isn't "I'm black and I'm proud" mean that advocate for or you are in the Black Panthers party, who teaches children at a very young age how to use weapons and brainwashes them to hate whites? There is no right answer, except to say that when someone states their skin color, followed by a declaration of pride, that usually means pride of heritage, and there is no malice intended. I dropped this class, because I refuse to waste my education, time and money on such a frivious waste. Just dropped the class today, anyone want to bid? I can put it on the bay that is e, under the user name mickeymouseanddonalduck. I used the book for only a few weeks.

Thought-provoking, accessible, must-read for anyone interested in race, ethnicity and identity issues
Moya and Markus define race and ethnicity as active and social processes rather than fixed biological categories. This dynamic definition lays the foundation for Doing Race, an impressive, multidisciplinary collection of essays that are useful and thought-provoking for anyone who is interested in identity, race, and ethnicity in relation to human behavior, cultural history, literary criticism, law, genetics, theater, etc... I have already found this book to be both personally and academically relevant as I think about my own identity and research interests. It is a rich resource, and I highly recommend it.

It was in a pretty good condition. There was no marks on the pages and none of the pages were torn. It looked great for being a used book.

Moderate Condition
The book was slightly dirty and had some bent pages. Looked like it was used twice or more. I paid a fair price for this book.
