We experience hot summers in the south and we run it all summer long. Allow motor to idle a bit on initial start up to allow the oil to warm up/thin before initial operation. During winter we go back to 25w-40

I used to buy Penzoil GT 25w-50 in my small lock 5.7L H.O. marine engine. But for some reason it's nowhere to be found.At this price for the Mercury name you know you can trust, you can't beat it for value & peice of mind to protect a $20,000 motor.

My apology I wrote a review on only getting 2 gallons of oil when I thought I paid for 3 gallons I looked back on my order and I only payed for 2 gallons. Sorry That's what happens when you get old. I will order from them again.
