Incredibly vivid portrayal of a Silicon Valley icon.
This book is a delightful read, brimming with valuable insights on managing and developing exceptional teams. As a startup founder and executive, I'm inspired by Bill's method of crafting a straightforward, no-nonsense team. I'm grateful for the effort put into sharing the tales of this remarkable Silicon Valley luminary. Thank you.

When leadership works
Most of the ideas around leadership collected in this book are not new, and even though most fail in putting them into practice, they are fairly well known. Yet, reading of how one single person could embody all of them and so profoundly touch some of the best business leaders in the world is unexpected and inspiring. Recommended to all those trying to assemble a team around something important.

Every leader of people should read
If leader did a few of these principles well, many companies will improve but more importantly many employees’ lives will be improved. Maybe some will be inspired to pay it forward and that’s how we make the world a better place.

Great, thought provoking book
I love the Coach’s priorities! He provided what the world is increasingly lacking, a people-first perspective.

For Top Management and their coaches and consultants
There are two passages which would best summarize the concept behind this book.Page 22: In the authors’ first book “How Google Works”, they argue that for companies to be successful, they must continually develop great products, and to do that they must attract smart creatives and build an environment where these employees can succeed at scale. Looking into the life of the deceased protagonist of this book, they found another equally critical success factor: Teams that act as communities, integrating interests and putting aside differences to be individually and collectively obsessed with what’s good for the company. In layman term, when people feel like they are part of a supportive community at work, they are more engaged with their jobs and more productive.Page 24: To balance the tension (internal conflicts of silos) and mold a team into a community, you need a coach, someone who works not only with individuals but also with the team as a whole to smooth out the constant tension, continuously nurture the community, and make sure it is aligned around a common vision and set of goals, (At Google, the coach meets the CEO and his staff, and attends their meetings on a regular basis). In case you feel for the above and would like to know how the Trillion Coach of Steve Jobs, Sergey Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Eric Schmidt, Jeff Bezos, Jack Dorsey and Sheryl Sandberg put the above into practice, this book is for you.

For all those running or building teams, this book is a must. Great insight into the things that matter when working, managing and dealing with people.Bill Campbell was a blessing to those who had the honor of being coached by him. Eric tries to turn these lessons into a playbook for managers and leaders around the world.

Más que interesante es indispensable contar con un coach de negocios
Es interesante conocer como las grandes empresas se auxilian en sus decisiones con coach y lo más interesante es que muchas veces comparten al mismo coach

Great tribute, biography & playbook
Interesting narrative, paying homage to a understated leader. This book emphasises not all heroes wear capes. It also shows how unorthodox approaches to business can take a company to the next level. Giving valuable tips on how to create great working environments, that will help teams to thrive.
