You have to remember that you get what you pay for. If you want a sectional couch that is super comfy, has cup holders, and reclines, you get that couch - and pay a lot more for it. If you want a couch that is functional, looks great, and gives you options at a bargain price, then this one is a suitable choice. Yes, the cushions are very firm - not hard, but firm. Personally, I think that's fine because I have had a few couches that were a pain just to get out of because you sunk so much. We got the chocolate color and found it beautiful. It's smaller than the picture makes it look, but still has plenty of room. The ottoman can be used in a variety of ways, including putting it against the opposite side of the chaise to make almost a second chaise if you want. It's really pretty easy to put together once you get a hang of the method and know how you want to position it. The packaging wasn't great and our nuts and washers were out of the package by the time we opened it. Delivery was good and pretty timely considering things. Overall, it's a good couch for our needs, but we came in knowing that for a couch around $500 that looked this good, we would be giving up some comfort.

Let me preface that if I could give this couch zero stars I would have. We placed the order for the tan version of this couch. A short while later, we received three larges boxes with couch parts. According to the instructions, there were going to be three boxes, which would make assembly easier if you just put one box together after the other. In our case, after having unpacked all three boxes, we noticed that we were missing an entire back piece plus the attached pillow. We contacted Amazon and the sellers, and were told that they would send a new back piece out. A few days later another massive box arrived on our door step. Instead of just the one specified backpiece ( we had sent the sellers photos and descriptions indicating which piece was missing), they had sent ALL of the back pieces. Which would have been a nice gesture, had they actually included any of the hardware needed to install the missing back piece. And speaking of the hardware, the pieces that come with this couch only allow for the back pieces to loosely sit in the bottom part, so if you plan on having your couch away from the wall you best plan on heading to the hardware store. We had to purchase approximately $7 worth in parts to make this couch usable.The pillows only attach to the back with a weak piece of Velcro and tear off easily. The stuffing of the couch consists of cheap, recycled stuffing pieces, which we also got to discover because everything tears so easily.I want to mention that we complained to the seller directly and they did refund us our money so the issue was resolved but I want to make others aware! The seller we feel did a good job listening to our concerns, but the product unfortunately is a very weak one.

My Hazelnut color Sectional Sofa arrived on Nov 18 as promised. Elegant4U called me a week before delivery, informed me about the arrival and the shipping company details (Radiant Logistics), their contact number etc. It was a curbside delivery BUT the kind hearted driver delivered it right inside my apartment doorway which was AMAZING! Color is perfect (Hazel). The assembling took time for me. I followed the instruction paper exactly but the backrests wobble. I knew something was wrong. There are 12 nuts, 12 long screws and 12 washers. The instructions shows to place the long screws in the backrest holes first, then the washer and tighten the nuts with the L tool on top. Then place the backrest on the frame. But the backrests wobble doing this way. So, I had to do it the opposite way. Remove the washer & nut and place it underneath the frame. Flip the frame, open up the Velcro strip compartment and slit the fabric area where the screw comes through and place the washer & tighten the nuts. This way the backrests do not wobble and are tight. You need 2 people to do this. One should hold the backrest in position while the other tightens the washer, nut under the frame. The set is huge and those who like firm sofas will love it. The back cushions are softer.

I bought this realizing it would be a 1-2 year couch. I love the size and microfiber. It's not that wonderfully comfortable but it fits our space great and is doable. The delivery drivers were very late, but the company compensated us with a cheap Comforter for that. All in all, it's fairly cheaply made but you get what you pay for. It fits out needs for the next year or two.

I ignored the negative reviews hoping it would be different for us because we were dying for a sectional and needed an affordable price. The quality is absolutely horrible. The couch looked beautiful at first and wasn't super comfortable but whatever it was priced low in comparison to other sectionals so we set the bar kind of low. But within a few months one of the legs on the ottoman broke, a few months later a second leg broke. We just had to balance the ottoman on the two broken legs and hope no one moved it. Felt the wood under the cushion break in two spots when I sat down. At 6ft and 170 lbs I am pretty sure I should be able to sit down gently without my couch breaking in half. After a year this couch is completely broken and cannot be fixed or sold and was a complete waste of money. I wouldn't wish this couch on my worst enemy.

Amazon does not properly notify the customer that this is a curbside delivery. Dealing with Home Goods Mania and the couriers to get this delivered was an absolute nightmare, it took over three weeks. I was so happy when it finally arrived, only to find out that the couch cushions are hard as a rock. I might as well have purchased a long wooden bench. It's a shame, because it's attractive, and I love the pillows and ottoman, but I will probably be getting rid of it sooner rather than later and buying something more comfortable for my family.

Firm sectional is perfect for small spaces. I was worried it would not fit in my little apartment but it is beautiful. Still getting use to the firmness of the cushions but very happy with this. I hope it looks as nice in my new bigger appartment. Let see.
