Bought 3 cases. Needed some larger acrylic display cases to supplement the expensive smaller two-piece (base & cover) ones that I'm stocked up with. These "Lego" cases are of decent quality, although they must be assembled. They go together pretty easily. I'd advise peeling back the protective film from the clear side pieces only just barely away from the edges until the assembly is complete, after which you can peel off the remaining film . These aren't super high-quality cases (with for instance padded bases or anything flashy like that), but for the size they are more than fairly priced, and are thus an excellent value. As far as I'm concerned, the low-rent display lights that come with them are worthless, especially since they're cheap battery-powered doohickeys. (Doohickeys? Descriptive but uncool. Oh well.) I'd rather have paid a few cents less for the cases than gotten these lame lights. Even though they're assembled from multiple pieces, I don't find these cases to be significantly visually distracting relative to expensive cases with single-piece covers and clean edges all around. The acrylic is adequately thick, although another 2 mm or so would be nice due to the cover being constructed of so many pieces. Good to have an X-Acto handy, as I had to elongate the slots on the top by a couple of hairs--all the other clear pieces were fine. (The X-Acto is also extremely useful for getting a start on peeling back the astoundingly tightly bound protective film on the clear pieces.) Without modification, seating the top would have required way too much pressure for brittle acrylic without lots of wincing. Patience and about 20 minutes took just enough off the slots, allowing the top to drop on perfectly snug. All the case's edges come together super-tight, so dust won't be an issue. My large F-111 looks totally bitchin' in it. Now for the two MnDOT snowplows. I just ordered 5 more cases for whatever, which you can take that as a major vote of confidence. Be careful about the narrow width though--I'm so sad that my Su-30 won't fit. (Am I humblebragging? I mean, who deserves both an F-111 and a Su-30?) Generally, I'd recommend the white base. White offers far superior contrast for vastly more colors than black. Obviously, I'm lovin' these things at this price. (No smartass comments. Something's off with me tonight.) P.S. Other than the stupid lights, the kit is extremely well-equipped. It comes with a scraper for the protective film, some nice white modeling gloves, a lint micro-fiber cloth, and some other misc. stuff like instructions (who reads those?).

Update: seller provided a new product. New one fit together snug and secure. Feels pretty solid for what it is. Im happy with the quality given the price and I appreciate the seller providing a new product without me even asking for it. Quality would be okay if I had been sent a new product. This one was obviously assembled, used, disassembled and sent back. There was no protective film on any pieces, all of the pieces had scuffs and scratches, the gloves had multiple holes, the base had marks where something had sat. None of this would have been a big deal if I knowingly purchased a used item, but it was listed as new. Very disappointed. Other than that, it assembled easy, the vertical edges aren’t flush but the top is. It’s lightweight and unobtrusive. There is nothing holding the pieces together other than the tabs, so be careful picking it up.

Overall it isba nice display case. Like that it came with lights. Assembly was easy. Minor criticism. 1. While the double side protective film is a great idea. It was difficult to remove. It would have been nice if the protective film had an overlap on opposite sides for each film. 2. The display could have interlocking sections. I would recommend this.

Very nice display case and perfect fit for my Lego 10295. Easy to assemble and the included light is a plus.

Panels have a protective film. Removal of white protective film is difficult. Assembly requires care to avoid scratching the acrylic panels. Fit of acrylic tabs into receiving slots is very tight. Enclosed instructions are sparse and missing ideas how to best approach prep and assembly of display. I spent over 2 hours trying to strategically peel protective film to avoid scratching. Kit does come with soft white gloves, 2 disposable cleaning wipes, and a soft cloth, however the acrylic panels can still be scratched using them with even light pressure. Kit included a nice battery powered light string which was an appreciated feature.

I purchased this for a Faberge egg that’s inside the original presentation box. It looks amazing and enables protection from dust yet allows for a clear view of the display item. The box is very easy to assemble. I had a fair amount of difficulty removing the protective paper on the acrylic. I tried tapes, a wallpaper razor and finally had the best results using a sharp pointed tweezers pulling the paper just a bit on the large tabs. If I did scratch the acrylic it wouldn’t be visible when the box was assembled. I like that the manufacturer included cotton gloves, a lint remover and wipes. The gloves, while fit snugly made it difficult to hold the small corner irons.

The case has connection points that don't sit flush, so edges stick out on every corner, and at every connection point. This means the case doesn't have a clean look. The edges are poorly machined, so there are plastic shavings everywhere inside the case. Cleaning was difficult, as I had to be careful not to breath the microplastics in while cleaning it. There are gaps in the insertion points, which defeats the purpose of using this as a dust barrier. I've enclosed pictures of various angles as proof of all the issues listed.

Perfect. Good quality, easy to mount and very well packed.
