Gets job done
Worked perfect to enlarge the Volume/tone controls on my Les Paul-type guitar. Went slow, and got a great result.

Very good value..
I was not expecting much at this price and certainly had I spent 10 times as much I would have received reamers that looked much prettier and perform maybe twice as well. And there you have it! These work well, are sharp enough, and sized as advertised.Pros:Well enough is very good because my primary use is reaming peg holes and and tweaking the tuner holes in guitars. These may look a little rough but they are tapered as specified, round, and cleanly cut soft and hard wood. My older fancy reamer is getting kind of dull (it is over 50 years old) and a reamer is very tedious to sharpen, so I thought I would give these a shot before dropping big bucks on a current replacement. I am satisfied!cons:The machine work is a little rough (not bad just not cleaned up) but a quick pass with 600 grit sandpaper took off the burrs without dulling the cutting edges. One of the T handles was too loose and the other was too tight (easily tweaked). So, quality control could be a better but the taper and cutting edges are fine on the ones (set of two) I received, but with poor quality control the next set shipped may not be the same. For me:At this price if/when they get dull I wouldn't even think about trying to revitalize them. I would buy them again, just tossing or returning a bad set if I got it, and ordering another.

6 degree Reamer Works Well for Bridge Pin Holes for 5 degree Pins
I measured the cutting flutes to be 3.600" long (as measured down the centerline of the tool) and they start at a diameter of 0.116" and taper to a diameter of 0.500". This calculates to be 6.1 degrees. This worked well for fitting 5 degree bridge pins.

Poor sharpening, you get what you pay for
On the plus side these are affordable and better than nothing. The biggest disappointment with these are that the cutting edge is not ground all the way to the edge. Most of the cutting splines are rounded over and the cutting edge is not sharp. This is not an easy item to sharpen. They were also packaged poorly being just tossed in a bag along with the metal handle causing nicks in the cutting edge under shipment.Just like a dull drill bit, you can use them, but don't expect a clean cut.

Did Everything I wanted Them To Do
I put a new bridge in one of my guitars and used the smaller one to ream out the bridge for new bridge pins and it worked exactly as I need it to do. I was putting in Vintage Relic Gotoh Tuners on one of my guitars and used the big one to ream out head stock to accommodate new bushings to be able to use the Vintage Tuners and did exactly what it was supposed to do. I put in a new end pin jack active preamp in another guitar and used the big one to ream out the end pin to accommodate the End Jack and again did exactly what it was supposed to do.Had no problems with not reaming, cuts fine. Only issue persay is they do have a few burrs but they can be flicked off as I didn't see one and kind of cut my finger slightly when having to push to get deeper ream. All in all they did exactly what I wanted them to do and even let friends borrow them and they worked for them also.

Perfect
I much prefer presentation pins to traditional and this handled that. Plus there’s applications for the tuning machines without drilling as well as end pin jacks.

Works okay
Purchased to ream out holes for guitar and bass tuning machines. It works fine. It does require a bit more brute force to cut and the results are not as smooth as I would have expected. But, the holes are effectively hidden by the hardware--so who cares if they are not exactly pretty. Plus, the price was right.

Not perfect but functional
Mine came w finish issues(metal burrs) and I did have to flat the ends of the cross bars myself but it cleans up holes alright
