I just wanted a cheap mini acoustic pedal to see if I liked the concept really
Professional guitarist here. Not sure what I expected from this pedal, I just wanted a cheap mini acoustic pedal to see if I liked the concept really. So it is cheap and definitelyDoes it's job in that regard. It sounds fairly good just as long as you don't pump too much input gain or volume into it. My big issue is this pedal clicks very loudly when you engage/disengage... had to stop using it. I purchased a joyo acoustic sound, which sounded very similar for a higher price and also clicked. I had to get rid of both and get the tried and true boss version. Buy this pedal if you want a cheap acoustic sim and don't care about clicking when you turn on/off the pedal.

No-coustic Pedal
I'm not really digging any of the acoustic simulator settings. Nothing really unique or passable for electric guitar simulating acoustic. I've heard better sounds from pricier pedals, so I guess that may have something to do with it.

Almost perfect, almost...
Wide range of sounds you can get out of this pedal. Doesn't sound just like an acoustic but it gets close enough for live shows. Definitely works best with a hollow body electric. Also an annoying hiss when using a compressor. All in all this is still a very useful pedal to me and I consider it a great addition to my pedalboard.

I love the way my guitar sounds with this pedal
I love the way my guitar sounds with this pedal, and even more with a delay. I do have a few issues with it - first, the input jack is loose and the connection isn't always great. second, I use it on stage, and when I click the pedal on, there is a TERRIBLE click sound that comes through the system, much like the sound of a guitar cable coming unplugged. I've learned how to switch it on and off at moments when it's less noticeable, but it's still really annoying. I don't plan to stop using the pedal (I've only had it a few weeks), but if a better option comes along, I'll be replacing it. Right now there aren't a lot of great options for an acoustic sim, and this one, all quirks aside, does sound really good.

Great Pedal if Used Correctly
First off, if you don’t use this pedal correctly, you will come on here and whine about it. This pedal WILL sound good through an acoustic amp or through a DI box into a PA. You CANNOT plug it into a regular electric guitar amp and expect a decent acoustic sound. When I plug it into my acoustic amp or PA and use the neck pickup of my Telecaster or Strat, it is a great sounding and very passable acoustic tone. Like a Piezo tone. Less so with humbuckers but still not back. It doesn’t have the loud click or hiss this way either that it will have if you put it into a regular guitar amp. I’ve tried all the ways to use it. With my guitar amps, it has a loud click and you can’t turn it up much without squeal and hiss. With acoustic amps or direct into a PA, this problem doesn’t exist. For the price, it is a great pedal. I upgraded to the BOSS AC-3 just to be able to have it in my pedal chain with a direct out of the pedal to my acoustic amp or PA. With the Tomsline, I had to run it through and A/B/Y box and it was more of a hassle.

Acceptable sound for occasional use during shows.
Played with a Strat on neck pickup I get a passable acoustic-like sound for love shows. I play with an "acoustic" trio but have added the Strat thru a regular electric amp for some lead work. We are currently playing short shows, and this pedal is acceptable to avoid bringing an acoustic and amp for those 25% of songs where I want an acoustic sound accompanying the rhythm guitarist who is playing acoustic. For longer shows I'll bag the pedal and bring along my acoustic and acoustic amp. Spend some time dialing it in.

Three Stars
Mids are very cut, I use it as a pass filter for lofi sounds.
