Terrible instructions / Awesome product
Yep, terrible instructions. To be honest though, it kind of made it fun. There's not a whole lot of parts to this thing and all the nuts and screws are the same size. My son and I spent maybe 30 minutes putting it together and laughing at each others mistakes. Honestly though for the price, it's really pretty good quality. Nice little backyard edition.

Very solid, smooth and quiet for the price!
Well after opening the package and looking over all the parts, my first thought was yes the fan and tail themselves are built fairly solid, but as for the rest of the framework...I thought to be very flimsy. But I said to myself for $59, guess it isn't too bad. So, I started assembling it together.... the instructions that came with it are almost useless except for some dark pictures that give you an idea of what goes together and if it weren't for the measurements on the parts list, some parts wouldn't be identified. Illustrations show to install washers here... you can't see anything as the picture is so dark. So, anyway, give yourself a good hour and half to figure it all out and once assembled I was surprised at how solid the framework was! I used the anchors provided and drove them in the ground at angles towards the center of frame so that any high winds would not pull this over easily, but if you have winds in excess of 20mph, I'd suggest heavier and longer stakes, especially in soft top soil. So this thing is really quiet and smooth. I added sewing machine oil to the bearings on the fan. Overall this is really a very nice product for the price! Don't be fooled by all the flimsy pieces, once assembled it's a solid frame. I will recommend this to my friends and family. I'm 65+ years old and a little common sense goes a long way in assembly on this. Update: had it a few days and no issues, today winds were 45mph with gusts up to 60mph and this windmill is still sitting solid on the ground and wow it's SPINNING SO FAST!!! Great windmill! 4/6/2026...One year later, still as solid as the 1st day! Has withstood the highest winds (important to anchor the bottom firmly to the ground). I lube it now and then with lithium grease to maintain silent movement. I plan to add a kinetic light to it by placing magnets on the 3 frame pieces from Shaft and mounting the light so that magnets pass by at each spin to light it up, think this will look great at night and also give me an idea of wind speed at night.

A beautiful addition to the garden, but whoa!
This comes with 27 parts and picture instructions that make no sense because you can't see what has holes and what doesn't. The pieces bundled together don't necessarily go together. And trying to find instructions for this exact brand online is next to impossible. Here are a few things you need to know. 1. Some of the pieces share a screw and a nut, so in several places, you will have to unscrew the nut to add another piece. Don't overtighten when you put the pieces together. 2. The legs are three pieces: 1 giant hole goes at the bottom, a piece with an indented section on one end goes second, and the top of the leg has no indentations. It also only has one hole at the top, where all the other spots have two. 3. Put legs together first, then add the small square cap. 4. Add the four separate crossbars to the empty hole in the bottom legs. This will offer a little stability while you work. 6. The four five-piece braces look like this: >-<. You'll cross the top right and left bars and the bottom right and left bars. The short piece in the middle will go above the long crossbars, halfway up the windmill. It took me three hours to assemble by myself.

Needs better directions & better hardware
First off you need to be a rocket scientist to put this thing together, I consider myself an excellent assembler, this thing took me over four hours, half the time scratching my head, do yourself a favor and just throw away the directions as they are useless. Had to go on you tube to see some assembly ideas, as the mfg. website was absolutely useless. Ok now on to the structure, the fan blade section & bearings are of a decent quality, but the legs & braces are very flimsy, as far as the hardware goes instead of the regular nuts they should give you locking nuts as I anticipate all the nuts & bolts to loosen over time as the structure twists & tweeks. Looks good all set up, functions well, we will have to see how long it lasts. What do you expect for $59 dollars.

Well Worth the money
This was very easy to put together. Seems well made heavy and sturdy. Looks great.

Nice windmill.
While I do like the end result and the decoration I purchased it has a few flaws. Well let's just call it two. 1. The instructions are terrible. Attach unmarked part to another unmarked part X4 then attach unmarked part to them. The description of each part is vague as well. Making putting this together a bit of a guessing game. 2. Inexperience, I have never built one of these before. Therefore the instructions need to be very clear to make sure mistakes are not made during assembly. Other than those issues it seems to be very well put together for the price. It looks very nice and seems to turn quite easily even in a small breeze. Now I just need to figure out how to mount it properly somewhere. My yard sucks every where I tried to dig to level it were so Rocky I couldn't dig. That is t the fault of the windmill, just bad luck on my part.

Great windmill for the yard!
Great product! Easy to put together. Would opt for some bigger stakes to keep from tipping during high winds. Great to see each morning to see how windy the day will be. Very quiet when spinning.
