Mochi Balls - Peach Filled Rice Cakes (Japanese Style Mochi)

I've had many flavors of mochi candy before (melon, blueberry, strawberry, etc.) but had never seen peach before. My prior experiences with mochi candy being very satisfying, I decided to give these a try despite the $14 price tag. This was an abject waste. First of all, you only get 8 of them and they are TINY--think a little smaller than a cherry tomato. The texture was awful, almost like glue with a liquid center; not at all like what a good mochi is supposed to be. On top of that they didn't even taste like peach! Plastic, yes, but peach? Not at all! In fact they tasted so weird I ended up throwing them out. Do yourself a favor and avoid these at all costs!

They came when it said they would. The flavor was really good. I really enjoyed them and will get more in the future. :)
