The fragrance is not very bad and I can say it is acceptable. The last phase of its smell it reminds you of classic GIO which I love. But the main reason I gave low score to this item is not related to Armani and its smell, but rather is because of this item specifically. The package looks reasonable, but the bottle is not high quality as it is expected from Armani and the cover tip of bottle looks very fake. Usually this cover tip are made of magnet and easily fit on top and when you touch it its heavy, but this one is very light and made of plastic, plus it does not fit perfectly. All of these things and short longevity of the smell would tell me it is most probably fake.

This was not what I expected at all from a new ADG fragrance. Profondo has all the hallmarks of the original scent-but-modernised, trading the brighter citrus notes for greener, colder ingredients that are even more marine. This is interesting, not least because although the final product smells pleasing, I’m really struggling to pin down an occasion or scenario where it would work best. The main problem with Profondo is that it’s a scent for the wearer and not the company. I like to imagine that I’m swimming in the great depths of a sea at night, but do others really want to smell these oceanic notes? This isn’t to say that every fragrance has to be a crow pleaser, but when you’re spending money on a premium product, one would expect a bit more impact than what is essentially an amped-up shower gel. Performance is decent and certainly better than the original these days. Projectivity leaves a lot to be desired. In short, this is a tricky one to recommend at the RRP. Where it a ‘cheapie’ then I’d have no hesitation in using it as a dumb-reach, but for the money there are just better fragrances out there.

Best summer fragrance

Not lasting at all

I was planning to write a negative review no matter what the scent smelled like when I ordered it simply because I already wanted it all for my self...but when I smelled it, hot with 0 burn off, I knew I was, for the forst time in my life at 40 years old, smelling Men's fragrance perfected! I have always loved GA scents but this is, just indescribable. Its everything I loved about the smoked bottle reg....but expounded and enhanced with new notes and.... Aqua Digio Profondo is mens fragrance perfected. Simple, True.
