Silicon Power Ultima U03 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive SP016GBUF2U03V1K (Black)

I am a fan of Silicon Power flash drives. I purchased this model because the price was the lowest I have seen for a 32GB drive. I assumed it had an aluminum body like all my other Silicon Power drives. This one is made of plastic and is advertised as METALIC SPUN. Misleading with the word METALIC and I have no idea what SPUN means but it does have a semi circle texture on the front (blue) side.The news on this drive is still good however. At about $17 each the product delivers good performance. It has a solid locking lever or cap-less design that feels sturdy. It seems as fast as any other 32GB drive I have and a bit more sturdy than the 2 or 3 other plastic body flash drives. I prefer to avoid plastic but still got my money’s worth.Just keep in mind, good drive, plastic body-NOT METAL/ALUMINUM.

I've had this for over a week so far and it's worked as expected without any issues. I was a little apprehensive before buying this since it's not a "big" brand but so far its been excellent. If I run into any issues I'll be sure to update the review.UPDATE: I've now had this drive for over 6 months and just wanted to pop back on and say it's still been working fine, I have yet to have a single issue with it. Still very happy with this purchase.

The flash drive is ok so far. I just got it recently so I can't attest to the longevity or durability of the drive yet. I do however have one point to make. The drive does seem to run slower than my other 64 GB drives. I have a 64 GB PNY drive and it seems to do better on speed. Other than that, the drive is useable.

I bought two cause they were cheap, and now I see why.Formatted for use with xbox 360.But, they would not hold the data.If switched from on xbox to the next box, the data was always corrupted and the drive had to be reformatted again.Does not matter whether we had the box off or not. 3 xboxes, 8 chances and tests.Always lost playing data when we switched from one machine to the other.Really frustrating.Had NO problems with a "Name brand" USB drive. Ugh - Now my son hates me cause he lost 34 levels of his game forever.

Fast read times for me. Can't seem to get it to retract, but maybe I'm afraid I'll break it.

Works great for moving media files around. It's also my go-to for transferring files between home and work computers. Love it!

Using it as storage for my Xbox360... formatted in the Xbox and works fine for profile data and game installs.

Put my entire photo collection on this bad boy - and still had 58 GB left. - Looks snappy, no cap to lose retractable. I have other Silicon storage products. and 50 Cents a GB - it is a brave new world (of storage), and Welcome to it.

Had to format it to make it work good... But overall excellent for the price!

Great 16GB USB for the price, I still use it to this day.Pro's: Loads quick on the computer, fast file transferCon's: None!I highly suggest this product.

Perfect USB for my needs. Fast transfers and looks stylish too. Had to reformat it to make it accept larger files, but that was simple and easy to do.

I've had this for a long time now, an it still works perfectly.
