This product appears ideal above the water. However, during a dive the rubber switch on the top is depressed below 6m which switches it off. Thus making it unsuitable for deep diving. I am researching a solution but disappointedUpdate: 31/12/21. I have discovered from the Canadian website that the dive version requires a different cap than the push button. It was not in my package. I thinnk Amazon need to check what is being sold here. I requested and got a refund.

Very good marker light but not worth its price tag

The media could not be loaded.  This comes nicely packaged in a Nextorch branded cardboard box and inside you get the torch, AAA Battery, Carry Strap and Instructions.There is one button on top of the torch, that works on a sequential basis:OffRedOffRed FlashingOffGreenOffGreen FlashingOffBlueOffBlue FlashingOffRed/Blue FlashingIn some ways this is a bit annoying. As if you want red/blue flashing, you need to push the button 13-times. If you over cook it, then that is another 13-clicks. May have been better without the off between each function? Why a white light was not built into this is a bit strange, as it could have worked as a mini-torch light.The light itself is light, even with the battery in, and petite in size. However, all the colours are very bright, particularly as it is only driven by a AAA battery. The run time is between 14 & 48-hours, dependent on what function you have it on. Obviously, flashing is going to use up more life than static.It does have a claimed functional depth of 200m, which is some depth, but I cannot confirm whether that is the case or not, not being a diver. It is certainly waterproof!!!Given the compact size, about the same size as a lipstick, it is easily going to fit into a bag, handbag, backpack, back pocket. It would even fit on a keyring.I am suitably impressed with this light but, not requiring the operating depth that it offers, I would find it difficult to justify the price (£29.95). This is waterproof for 200 metres! It's a very bright light that helps your crew whether they're on the boat or underwater, help see you. The bracket needs strapping to you, and holds it well. It doesn't float though, so, should you accidentally drop this you either dive to retrieve it, or you lose it forever. However, the bracket really holds the light well, so this shouldn't be an issue.
