Fruit of the Loom v Fruit of the Loom Review
I have recently gained a LOT of weight due to Covid. I have always loved wearing pretty and comfortable undergarments that are functional, but let's get real. Who wants to pay $15 for one pair of underwear when you're planning on loosing weight? I didn't want to invest a lot of money, so I scoured the internet to see what other plus sized ladies are saying.I decided to purchase four types of Fruit of the Loom briefs so I could find which is the best for form, fit, function, and affordablity. They also have a couple of others that are in this category; however, the elastic is exposed at the waist and legs. I like the added comfort of having the covered elastic. Here are my thoughts:1) Women's Breathable Underwear with Mesh - They're 91% cotton and I love the wicking effect; however, they don't seem to dry because they absorb the moisture and trap it. They stretch well and are extremely comfortable.2) If you don't like seams, they make the exact same ones above in a seamless version called Women's Fit for Me Plus Size Underwear. Please don't confuse them for the similar flexible fit version that's very similar in appearance though. They're completely different.3) Beyondsoft Panties - They are only 60% cotton, but they have a cotton crotch. You wouldn't ever know that they aren't 100% cotton. They're the softest of the four that I tried. They have four way stretch and wick moisture in my humid climate better than the two listed above. They actually pull the moisture away and dry while the others stay damp which is bad for your skin. I am usually not a fan of every day wear panties that aren't 100% cotton, but these hit it out of the park. As an added bonus, they're currently the least expensive per pair out of all four as well. They're a win all the way around! They also allow you to select your colors when you "get what's sent" with the other three.4) Tag Free Cotton Brief Panties - They are 100% cotton and ROUGH. There's virtually no give and the butt is cut so funny that I thought that I had them on backwards at first. They're uncomfortable and not very forgiving. Their claim to fame is that they are tag free, but all four listed are tag free.In conclusion, for every day wear, go with #3. If you're working out, I would wear #1 or #2, but I wouldn't wear them for an extended period of time. You should always change your underwear after you workout anyway. At this price, I can actually afford to replace all my high end panties. What I used to pay per pair, I can get an entire pack of these. I am going to stick with them after I lose weight since I'm so pleased with their quality.*** If you liked my review, please vote "helpful" to motivate me to write more. ***

Loose Underwear in a Bag
I ordered the 12 pack of underwear. I was anticipating them to be packaged similar to what I would find in the store. Nope. They were just loose underwear in a bag...no tags on them. Nothing to indicate they were brand new underwear. I will be returning them because I can’t get over the idea that they could possibly be used. Just wanted to make everyone aware. The quality seems up to par with this brand but I rather get them with tags on them or something to indicate for sure they are unused.

Possibly fake
Ordered the 12 pack of bikinis. I am not sure that these were genuine. The fabric was much lower quality than a pack I bought in store. The elastic was thinner as well. The packaging said made in Mexico (plastic bag was the only packaging) but the items were tagged as made in Honduras. I ended up returning them because the quality looked so bad.Unfortunately we Amazon you can no longer tell if you are actually getting a genuine article or not.

Bit too much fabric, and slightly too tight, but still comfy
I'm 5'7, 285 lbs. I'm built with a large stomach and zero butt. I got the size 11 briefs. For size reference: size 11 in Hanes comfortsoft briefs fit me perfectly, and in Just My Size briefs are too big on me, especially around the thighs/butt.These are made from a nice soft material. There's no saggy butt. There's no weird, elastic strings hanging out of it. It's too tight in the belly, so next time I'll get a size up, but it's not tight enough to leave red marks in my skin. One issue I have with it, which is why I'm marking 1 star down (other than because it runs small), is how much fabric there is on the front, on the hips and belly. It fits more like boy shorts in the front, but without the annoying wedgie you get from the boy shorts. The back side of these panties are VERY nice and comfortable!! No sagging (even though I don't have any butt), no wedgies, and not too much or too little fabric. Absolutely perfect.I won't be sending these back, I'll just buy a size up next time. If you carry your weight in your stomach, like I do, you might want to buy a size up.

Fit is weird - waistband too tight...
I’ve bought 2 packs of FoTL underwear and are disappointed with both styles. The less expensive style has the harshest fabric. I bought those one size too big though, so I bought these. I thought I’d pay more for this style because many reviews commented on how soft they were.Well, they are softer than the other style, but now the waistband has very little give resulting red marks around my waist. And they fit weird - a little too high which results in them rolling down.I’ve tried several different brands and find only the Cacique line (Lane Bryant) fits nicely. However, they have a problem with holes just appearing in the fabric which means tossing them out. And they are definitely pricier than these. Now back to the drawing board....

Definitely Recommend
I was skeptical but these are really soft!! I usually get a lower cut, seamless underwear made of anything but cotton and thought I should try these out.Right out of the packaging, I thought I made a mistake with sizing because the waist to crotch was longer than I was used to but, I was pleasantly surprised. They fit comfortably, just right and are so so so soft!I just wish there were more darker colors, I can't remember the last time I had white or pink underwear.

Love These Underwear!
I love these underwear!! They're by far the most comfortable I have discovered in my years of looking for comfy undies! They don't ride up!!! The bands don't dig into your skin. They also wash well. I will order more. Beware the sizing. I wear size Small. My initial order was in size 5 (s), and I found them to be too tight (I don't like tight undies), my next order I tried in the size 6 (M), and they fit perfectly. I hope my review helps!

Sizing in each package is not the same!
Some pairs within the same package fit wonderful! Loved them but others, in the same package, marked the same size weren’t! The waist band was too tight! Also not as long in the body as the next pair! So basically there okay but with in the same package each pair fits a little different. This means some are good and some not so good! There is even one pair I had to take in! So within the same package the sizing is all over the map!

Perfect and comfortable
The product is perfect, second time I've ordered them, but Amazon somehow manage to get a sticky, nasty substance inside the box and all over the plastic bag that the undies were in. Thankfully it looks like the substance didn't get inside the bag but I'm double washing the undies just in case. More care is needed at Amazon, goodness knows what this substance was, it was nasty.

I believe they are NOT made by Fruit of the Loom
The first picture shows the actual color difference between what I ordered and what I got. Unfortunately, the third picture came out really light, but is actually the item on the right in the first photo. Either way, does the labelling in the 3rd photo look a bit dubious, compared to what I know is genuine Fruit of the Loom in photo 4?Fourth picture is from a previous purchase using this link, and came in nice, original packaging, with cardboard and stuff. Those were very soft and comfortable, and that’s what I thought I was ordering. Here’s the link to my first order(4th pic):https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00L66KTWG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1Third picture is what I just received. Quality is nowhere close to the original order, and the waistband and leg bands are very “rough” and not very pliable. I don’t even need to try them on to tell what they’re going to feel like. The bag also smells heavily of dye, not really what you want touching your privates, especially if you have sensitive skin or allergies that you might not even be aware of.The second picture is the lovely bag in which they were received, omg, Super appealing, right? And, to top it all off, not ONE of the twelve was even close to any of the colors they should have been, or of anything in the listing. This was a ridiculous waste of time and energy, not to mention a complete inconvenience having to process and deliver a return due to what looks to be fraudulent or completely inferior goods, I’m not sure, but I cannot imagine the quality went down that bad, that quickly. I’m finding more and more lately that I cannot rely on the quality I’m receiving from Amazon, and that saddens me greatly. Not to mention the amount of returns and my time this requires. As a Prime member for way too many years ($$$$$), I am extremely disappointed. Amazon/Jeff, you gotta do better!
