Extremely dissatisfied. Absolutely should be a gasket with this kit. The old gasket was turned to ash from the heat. I’m sure the manufacturer knows this.Do not buy unless this kit gets upgraded with a gasket

I got this 6 mouths ago and still works great

The two flame rods arrived in good order. I have already used one and have the 2nd one ready to use if needed

Havent used it yet but it looks like it will work.

After obtaining the same thing elsewhere and running into the same issue, I eventually figured it out:while my original flame rod had a foam gasket, the newer ones--which are interchangeable with the old ones--have a graphite 'gasket' which serves the same purpose but is presumably more durable than foam. So: this DOES have the gasket, just not the kind I was used to.--------The Navien Manual is very clear that you should always use a new gasket. This doesn't come with the gasket and it seems to be impossible to find an gasket online by itself.The other reviews are inconsistent and some say it comes with a gasket. It doesn't and the seller confirmed this to me over chat. So, do not buy this unless you are certain that you don’t need a new gasket.

Company's product didn't last more than one year of service. After thousands in plumber costs, won't stand behind product.

The flame rod looks right but despite previous comments and answers regarding this product it does not come with the 2 centFoam gasket that is needed to use it. Disappointed..

Thought this would be an aftermarket part, but was pleasantly surprised to see it’s a Navien Part.Works great, does come with the gasket for installation.

I like to maintain my own equipment and this is really the only part that I routinely change on the Navien combo boiler. This came with a gasket- I read previous reviews crying the blues about not getting a gasket. My only gripe was the existing screws were pretty crusty and it would be nice to have new eventually. The best part is I can buy this without having a gas license! But that’s a secret worth keeping :)

Flame rod works well with my navien model ncb-240 but the gasket is too fragile, it broke right away but still managed to use it.

Took two minute to install and safe $250 service call. If your Boiler don’t start. That will fix the problem
