Vifah Renaissance Outdoor Hand-Scraped Hardwood Bench, White, 5Ft, Grey-Washed

This piece is a 3-seater bench with lots of style at an excellent price.Pros:- Nice rustic finish and design. Looks like something Martha Stewart would surround with exotic mosses for her place in Nantucket. The style feels like "country estate meets beach". Also works as farmhouse or rustic decor.- Good size. 3-seater. 2 ample adults have plenty of room. So would 3 models. Or 3 kids.- Sturdy and relatively lightweight. The main supports and toggle bolts are strong. The wood is lightweight, probably a fast-growth fir of some sort. But the engineering makes it sturdy. Seat slats are pre-assembled with lots of screws – not staples.- Easy assembly. You get 6 pre-assembled pieces: (1) back, 1) seat, (2) arms and (2) supports that are pretty well made. If you guess right (you have a 50/50 chance) and put the supports aimed down, it can be finished in 15 minutes. If you guess wrong (like I did) it will take about an hour to build, take apart and rebuild the bench.- Fast, undamaged delivery. The box and packing are as ingenious as the engineering on the bench itself. Impressive. I live in Hawaii where Prime can take 1-2 weeks. This 5-foot bench arrived in 3-4 days.Considerations:The beautiful design, finish, engineering, and affordable pricing have a few reasonable trade-offs.- This elegant bench is designed for looks over comfort. Perfect for my needs. Others may prefer a more curved comfortable design.- The assembly directions are simplistic for a pretty easy assembly. Nice renderings but not clear about whether the support's lip faces up or down. They face downward.- The exposed bolts take away some of the charm of the piece. (I bought some wood fill and warm gray paint)- The bench is designed for style and affordability over long-term durability. It may last for many seasons, but remember it is designed to look like a legacy hardwood piece that has been weathered over generations. It is a soft wood piece with a lovely finish. Have realistic expectations and appreciate the value pricing for what it is.

Bench looks just like the picture. My husband put it together easily (he is handy with tools). Good for the price.

I like that it is light enough for me to easily move around if needed, and was such a piece of cake to put together.It truly looks great and has plenty of seating space!

The bench was chipped and missing a 3rd page to the instructions. The outer box was not damaged so must have gotten chipped in the packing process. Additionally, one of the blocks the seat lays on is cracked, so not sure it will hold anyone sitting on the bench. Putting the bench together was easy until I got to the last four screws and no instruction page to say where these go. I should have brought the other bench I was looking at even though it was a few hundred dollars more than this one. I will never purchase this name product again. Now I have to waste my time to disassemble and put it back in the box and sent this cheaply made bench back to Amazon 🙄

Easy to install and sturdy. It fits my front porch perfectly. The color is just right. Would recommend to buy it.

So happy with how this bench turned out. I wanted something with a bit of style and not the traditional bench. I have a lot of modern design elements on front of house and this bench fits the design perfectly. I have a red roof and figured it was best to work with what I have and therefore I painted the bench a red color to compliment the roof color.
