Heavy Duty Accurate Narrow Stainless Steel Measuring Spoons, 6 piece set, Chef Quality and Commercial Durability

I needed a second set of measuring spoons and this set was perfect for spice bottles.

UPDATE 4-18-2016- I am very excited that I received an email today that they are sending my new measuring spoons. They didn't forget about me. I have to say..Wonderful customer service. A+ in my book. I would absolutely Buy from them again. ORIGINAL POST: Sadly I will have to return these. I love the weight and the shape but I am more concerned with accuracy. I tested 4 1Tbsp measuring spoons and this one clearly does not hold 1 Tbsp. I am surprised that no one else noticed. Unless mine are missmarked. They hold a little more than half of what the label says they should. I did the same test with all the other spoons as well and with the same result. I thought they looked small when I got them. I also have a milliliter measure and it is measuring short as well. UPDATE- I got a full refund and will receive a new set soon. When I get them I will probably have to change my rating of 5 stars I am sure!

I am angry at myself, more than anything else, for not actually verifying these...although I am certain that I thought I had.Unfortunately, I've had these for over three years, used them at least weekly, and despite recipes that were just "not quite right", never thought I had a problem. I cannot count how many times I looked at another brand of tablespoon I own and thought, "that looks so much bigger"This tablespoon, clearly marked 15 ml, holds 8.5ml...8.5ml!!!...almost 50% short!!! I could not fit 2 teaspoons of granulated sugar into this, let alone 3, even though the teaspoon is short TOO!!I eventually will verify the other pieces, but right now, I'm looking for a new set from another company. I wanted these because they would fit into containers more easily than the round ones I have.Never again!!!I've had no rust problems like others have had, but I don't use the dishwasher, and these never soak. I always liked their look.I've often wondered how companies get away with crap like this, and now I know...people like me who don't check their s^^t...very sad.

Thank you thank you thank you for making these spoons i absolutly love them started making a change from plastic and these are very strong easy to clean love the shape dishwasher safe i even scoop thick peanut butter with these and no bending at the head of the spoon one very important thing I was looking for (update from 3 years ago I have washed these in my dishwaher numerous times not a speck of rust I use them to measure everything peanut butter coffee and not one of the spoons has any damage what so ever I hope you get your self set

I like these a lot. It takes a little while to get used to the odd shape - partly because there's an optical illusion that makes them look bigger than they are, and you feel like the amounts are wrong (they aren't; I checked). But these spoons fit into every spice jar/container I own, so I never have to try to shake spices onto a spoon again.2019 Edit: After a few years of owning these, I have to say I ONLY use them for spices. Their shape is great for that, but IMO less than ideal for liquids and such. Still a great product.

I gave this set to my son who loves to cook. Durable and accurate.

Update 12/16/16: I didn't change my rating but wanted to mention I have problems with these rusting. I live in a very humid climate--probably rust would not be an issue in a drier climate.The shape works for small bottles as advertised. They are made of such thick metal, you could run over them with a truck without damaging them. I wish they were more attractive looking though.

The Heavy Duty Narrow Stainless Steel Measuring Spoons are a cook's dream. These spoons work perfectly for reaching into narrow bottles and jars that wider spoons can't reach. These spoons work so well, we ordered 2 sets; both will replace our previous 2 sets that are being divided among family for when family separates and we move into senior housing. Would buy from amazon seller again if needs be, but we've determined that these spots will last a lifetime. Thanks for providing this item on amazon.
