I love this rod and reel and it is so sturdy and easy to use. The only thing that I did not know was that it did not come with the line on the reel. As a novice, I had to find someone help get it all together. By the way, I caught a bunch of really nice catfish on it when we were spending a weekend at Cedar Creek Lake in Texas.

Bought this for my grandson, he is elated. It is sturdy, easy to handle, easy to store away. He's been on several fishing trips over the past month. Great product.

I do really like the rod, it has a good feel, and isnt as heavy as the previous indestructible model. I'm sure the other rod might be stronger, but the extra weight isn't worth it imo. This one just has a nice feel And should handle some big fish. I have to mention that the reel had absolutely no grease in it at all.It seems manufacturers are slopping these reels together without lubing them up first. Please keep this in mind when buying any new reel. All in all, this seems to be a good combo. It's a bit on the high side, but still pretty solid for a spincast setupupdate: after using it for a year and trying out other new spincast reels, I just prefer this setup over all my others. It's not going to handle big spinner baits, but it will hog in nice bass and catfish without much problem. The red line is a bit stiff, but it'l hold up to a big fish too. I wasn't happy with the reel when I first bought it, but after breaking it in, I couldn't be much happier with it.Zebco makes alot of junk these days but I think they got it right this time.

This is a great combo rod and reel set up for a beginner but works just fine for having a fun fishing day with the kids. Nothing that's going to snatch up big fish!

I purchased this for my son. It is easy to use and durable. Action is smooth and minimal line tangling. Perfect for an 8 year old. Now to just get him to bait his own hooks!
