Feet First: A Guide to Foot Reflexology

Great Book!
This is a great book for the novice seeking to learn the basics of Reflexology. The author goes over a little of the history of Reflexology and how it can help a person with their whole health, gives maps of the body and shows how the feet mirror the body. She also talks about what Reflexology can't do. She then goes into how to manipulate the feet and in what order to perform the session. The chapters include information on stress, work and school, couple's, children, elderly, athletes, overcoming addictions, strengthening body systems, and terminal illness. There is a chapter on common conditions, however in my class I learned that one should treat the entire body and not focus only on one condition since the condition may have several causes. The book is a great way to enhance your knowledge of Reflexology even though you are not a licensed Reflexologist.

LAURA NORMAN LOVES FEET
Laura Norman LOVES FEET and it shows in her book. (She's holding a bunch of feet on the cover) I think this is THE BEST REFLEXOLOGY BOOK I have seen. I found it while going to massage school. The book is full of information and so easy to use and look up any questions you might have. I have read it through twice and keep it handy for reference. I was so impressed with my copy that I bought this copy and had it sent to my daughter who has been a massage therapist for 5 years now. She also said it is the best source of foot reflexology information she has seen too. You don't have to be a massage therapist for this to be useful you just have to love feet too.

An important part of my First Aid kit
This was a replacement, because I sent my previous copy home with my daughter who lives in the Netherlands. I have found it quite helpful in identifying and treating "imbalances" that cause discomfort. I consider it part of my First Aid kit. This book is very clear in explaining how Reflexology works, how to do it, and has very easy to follow charts for common issues.

Awesome book
This book is great. Have lost 3 by loaning to family and friends. We use reflexology when anyone is sick or hurt. Have 6 grandchildren and when they are sick or hurt from sports they ask us to do their feet. Started doing this when they were babies

Laura Norman is one of the finest, if not the worlds finest Reflexologist
Laura Norman is one of the finest, if not the worlds finest Reflexologist. This book is a wonderful way to learn the Art of Reflexology. I studied with Laura years ago, and refer to this book often. I also give it as a gift, and people love it.

a thorough guide for self-education
This book is detailed for its length. I already own several other reflexology books, but found data in this volume that the others lack. Overall, this is a great resource for anyone interested in helping themselves, and would be a great "refresher" for those who've taken a break from the topic at hand.

A must have book!
Just an all around perfect book for reflexology. As helpful to the beginner as it is for anyone well studied and practiced in it. Helpful pictures and easy to read. Very holistic in its practice.
