Mission Mijello Fusion Folding 20 space Removable Palette Water color Palette

I ordered this under the mistaken impression it was as compact as the 18 well palettes that are similarly designed, but it's actually quite large. That being said, it has 20 wells (21 if you count a little divit in the main part of the palette- I always squeeze a bit of neutral tint in there) - weirdly enough the photo makes it look like it has 19, but it really has 20.I am definitely a watercolor collector and I squeeze my tubes into half pans and store them in thos big round Robax palettes, but a while ago I started realizing that I really resisted using watercolors in half pans because I hate "scrubbing" larger brushes in the tiny pans. So I decided to get several of these smaller palettes for my favorite colors so that when I paint with larger brushes, I don't have to deal with the "dabbing" of paint.These are easy to fill, easy to clean, and a joy to watercolor with. Again- they are not compact, and they are not airtight, but they are great for creating limitied color palettes and for painting with larger brushes.

Pretty good size, nice mixing area, plenty of paint wells. Plastic stains with some pigments not horribly. Makes easy for taking on trips, or just using in the studio.

A well made, lightweight WC palette that I bought for painting outdoors. Stain-resistant but paint beads up a lot until you've used it awhile- it's a slick plastic. I like the ergonomic thumb grip in the corner, and the paint wells are placed on one side to prevent spillage when the palette is closed. I removed a star because I can't figure out exactly what the removable clear plastic inner cover is for (extra mixing space?) There's a leaflet that came with it but it's in Korean, so no help there. Despite this minor quibble I highly recommend it.

I like the design. My inside tray came cracked. I am still going to use it. It's a bit large so you can't fit it in a small bag or mini backpack. But definitely useful.

The color is difficult to clean, and it penetrates into the color palette, which is very ugly.

Plastic palette stains easily. Inner clear tray doesn't stay in place when closing, so it falls into your paints.Doesn't keep the liquids contained at all, so it will leak and the paints will dry out.Not even student grade materials. Much better options available elsewhere.

I love this palette. Plenty of space for the watercolor pigments, and convenient mixing areas. Lightweight, reasonable footprint when space is limited. Exactly what I was looking for. I am old enough to know better than to carry wet paints and wise enough to know what happens if you turn wet things sideways. Just sayin.
