Beast Quest: Adventurer`s Handbook Spiral-bound – 6 May 2010

My son read about 50 of these books in six months when he was a year 6 (10-11 yrs). He has now moved on to other books but these packs certainly helped his reading over that period.

My 8year old grandson has been struggling with reading. He is very active and has a good imagination and heard about the Beast Quest books from a friend who reads better than him. The subject really appeals to him (although not me)and is now reading every night before bed. The Adventurers Handbook was good for me and him because it introduces all the characters in the series and gives their background. It also has puzzles, plus drawing pages etc. I bought it together with a story book about one of the characters, which I thought a good idea. Have promised him more books in the series. He has now caught up to the standard of his friends.

My 7 year old son got this as a present and we have since been giving it to all his friends who enjoy the Beast Quest series too. It contains activities, facts, stickers, puzzles. Very good value and enjoyable for his age group.

The actual book is good, but buy a new one, I got this cheap, used but described as good condition - a lot of the puzzles and quizzes had been filled in already! Luckily in pencil, so I spent an evening rubbing it all out before giving in to my son. Not the best present due to slightly tatty condition.

This was described as "Very Good condition" - it was a battered old book with loads of writing in it. Apart from the condition, the actual item would thrill any Beast Quest fan.

Gave this to my nephew for his 7th birthday, and he LOVED it. He could barely but it down and had got through almost half of it by lunchtime. So good to have inspired his love of reading :D

Ordered the book as a gift for a young lad who is reading the Beast Quest series. The book has interesting puzzles and facts about the Beast Quest books. There are 5 different sections with about half a dozen or so pages in each one, so its not big. At the back there;s a small poster and because it's spiral bound, it will tear out for display. I'm assured that it will be enjoyed.
