In a weak moment I bought these on the recommendation of a forum poster. They are really delightful. The caramel flavor is deep and rich while the texture is creamy and dense to the tooth. Having tried to conquer caramel making myself, I know how exacting candy making can be. A degree too hot and you have a slab of hard candy. Plus the burns if you are not careful.Caramels are my #1 candy and I am very fussy how I spend my candy budget. These are brilliant with just the right hint of sea salt. The great thing about this variety is that while you can taste the sea salt, it is not with an abrasive crunch. It doesn't interfere with the chew and the mouth feel of these wonderful caramels. Absolutely amazing and I highly recommend them.

These NOMNOM DELIGHTS GOURMET CARMEL CANDIES are the best caramels ever! They have a full, rich caramel flavor, and a basic caramel chewiness--but if you hold them in your mouth, they melt! There's no way that these caramels will get caught in bridgework or pull out fillings--they're soft, and they dissolve.I tried both the original and the sea salt versions. It's hard to say which tasted better. Perhaps the Fleur de Sel (sea salt) won in a photo finish, but I'm delighted with the originals that don't have added salt. (I'm on a low-salt diet.)If I eat one of these caramels, I can't stop until I've eaten at least one more. They're that good! So the only bad thing I can say about these gourmet caramels is that they're real diet-busters.An extra plus is that the folks who make these are wonderful to deal with. You can expect great customer service if you need to contact them for any reason.

Oh my!!! These caramels are awesome!! I purchased the Fleur De Sel Sea Salt Caramels as part of the Candy Bar Table for my daughter's wedding and they did not disappoint!!! Soft and chewy with great flavor and just enough touch of salt, they were a huge hit! Don't tell anyone but I kept some aside at home for after the wedding! ;) I also want to add how wonderful it was to work with this company because I had not tried these caramels before and wanted to know what they tasted like before making a large purchase. I emailed them and explained my situation and without pause they sent me a large sample! An overall excellent experience!

While these caramels are great as plain caramels with sea salt, there is no particular flavor of chocolate. If you've ever had chocolate caramels (not chocolate covered), then you know how the well-made ones really have the taste of dark chocolate and the chewiness of a caramel. Having the word chocolate in the description of these caramels is misleading.

Great tasting caramels! Rich buttery flavor, exactly what you would expect of a Gourmet Caramel except they are not soft and dont melt in your mouth like great caramels do. We wondered if we got an old batch of caramels! If you would like to try and compare these to great caramels buy the Avenuesweets Caramels at Amazon, you wont be disapointed!

I bought several of these to give as Christmas gifts this year. I kept one set for myself as a Tester and I can say that they are delicious! I am excited to give them as gifts. The overall package is wrapped in sealed cellophane, so they are fresh. And each individual piece is wrapped tightly. The candy itself is delightful and the pieces are huge -- there is a generous amount of caramel here that will last a long time. Each piece feels like three pieces of candy to me! I like that there are no nuts in this caramel -- you never know if your gift recipient or someone in their family has a nut allergy. Caramels seem safe to me in that regard. Overall a great purchase and hopefully a nice gift!

Yes, they are yummy. But do not be misled by the "real cream, real sugar" marketing hype. When the package arrives and you turn it over to read the ingredients, the very first item you will see listed is corn syrup! Nowhere in the description is that mentioned, so those of us looking for a safe sweet goody are out of luck. And money. Companies should be required to list every ingredient in their product on their page, so that people with food allergies/intolerances are not deceived.

Oh these are soooooo good. Seriously these just killed my New Years diet. But I don't care, they're worth it. This is no small package of wimpy caramels. Each caramel piece is huge. More than one bite. At least 2 or 3 bites per piece. And oh so rich, creamy and yes, soft. Quite possibly the worlds most perfect caramel. I'm hooked!!!Sample provided for review
