I love this. My husband and I had our last two babies 9.5 months apart, they are 1&2 now and I've been dealing with horrible hormone fallout. I tried birth control, the patch, and an iud. No avail. Welp, buckle up since this is a looong review. Why I wanted it: With the way aguaje was described, I was primarily interested in this product because I wanted to lose a lot of weight without losing a ton of fat in the buttocks or hips area; rather than trying to increase their size, as well as alleviating my bad PMS symptoms (brainlock, fatigue, hot flashes, anxiety, etc). The very first time I had seriously dieted two years ago, I went overboard by consuming very little carbs, not enough healthy fats, eliminating saturated fats all together, eating too little, and doing only vigorous cardio. And unsurprisingly enough, I drastically lost a significant amount of fat in my hips, buttocks, and breasts. Feeling down in my grad years I went right back into unhealthy habits fast and ended up heavier than my initial weight. I didn't take my measurements then, but my curves surely weren't the same as they were this time in my weightloss journey! In the past 6 months I've gone from 155 to 124 and my hip measurements went from 42inches to 39 1/2 inches, which is not so bad at all. What I did in conjunction with this: I started all over again but this time took the steps to make sure I was dieting AND exercising the right way. For those of you really considering either keeping a little more curves during weight loss or even increasing them, make sure you balance out your exercises with more strength training (less in the pectorals if you don't need a whole lot of lifting) and some cardio. Squats alone did not help me but rather hip abductions, sumo walks/monster walks (WITH ankle resistant bands!) , straight leg lifts, bent-leg kickups, and other variations. And as always whenever you are doing strength training to tone and increase mass, it is essential to include carbs after your first month of weight loss, as excluding it all together and doing only protein is a mistake. I had organic whey protein (non-Isolate, but it's your choice if you want it isolated) as apposed to soy protein because these pills already contain the nutrients to produce more Estrogen in your system. Besides that, the obvious leafy greens, legumes, seeds, and fruits were included too. How I took it: In the first week of receiving this, I took only one capsule every other day and eventually took one every day for a week, then two every day for the remainder of the year. The reason I started out so slow was because I wanted to ease my body into this vitamin, as it is intended for cycle regulation through the increase of estrogen from this phytoestrogenic fruit (And Phytoestrogens are meant to mimic the effects of your body's Estrogen). This also contains beta-carotene (vitamin A, more than carrots!) and high amounts of vitamin C and E. Because of the vitamins I thought it'd be nice to break open the capsule and mix it with my lotion I usually use after showering (after a workout) to soothe my muscles, just to test this even more. Though it is probably best to take it orally than topically if you don't want to waste more capsules. How it performed/did it work: Since I slowly eased into this pill I didn't experience any stomach pains, headaches, changes in urination (UTIs), dizziness, or other side effects. If anything, it did help minimize my usual symptoms of PMS (primarily mood/anxiety); not the bloating so much(though I don't think much can help with that lol). My flow didn't change in any significant way in duration or lightness/heaviness. And lastly, aside from the diet and exercise being the top contributor to my less curve-loss during general weightloss, I do feel like this product, as a topical and oral vitamin, did its job well in keeping the fat in places I wanted to remain. And while it wasn't much I did notice more thigh and hip mass that wasn't muscle as well. I had to slowly stop this product once I had begun running out due to being low on money, but I am most likely going to hop right back on and see where it goes from there!
