This device had a terrible range. I had to have it within one or 2 inches of the hearing aid for it to work.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Life changing great! I've had otosclerosis since childhood and five surgeries over the years. Now in my late 60's with a hearing aid in my left ear and a cochlear implant in my right (both t-coil equipped). Bought one of these about a year ago and I'm able to hear the TV with outstanding clarity. When I'm traveling I use it with my notebook computer to watch streaming video. I'm an electrical engineer and if I had designed a device for this purpose I couldn't have imagined building anything better. I'm a night owl and it's particularly nice to be able to mute the TV and not disturb the family while being able to hear pristine audio through my aid and implant. Micro-managing the location of the loop isn't necessary. I can just let it hang from my neck and it works just fine. On the other hand I prefer to adjust the placement of the loop to optimize right/left ear balance but it's not a bother to do so. Severe hearing loss robs so many people of so much but, for me, this little thing has given me back more than I can describe here in a brief review.
