I will NEVER make mashed potatoes the old school way again. And I'm from the deep south where my grandma is rolling in her grave reading this. These are FANTASTIC. They take minutes to make and since they are made from Russet potatoes, they taste fresh and homemade. You can easily change the consistency, too. Seriously, these have made my life easier and we can have mashed potatoes whenever we want because they take less time than making garlic bread in the oven. I am so happy about these.

Bob's red Mill Potato Flakes make tasty, reliable mashed potatoes in less them 5 minutes using a microwave. They also work as a no-lumps thickener for stews, gravies and pot pies.

This box of four bags could last a person at least a year, depending on speed of use. I have always found them to be super easy to prepare, appreciate their lack of dodgy ingredients, and like their recloseable bag as opposed to a possibly leaky cardboard box. They are part of a fast meal when i don't feel like being fancy, like a hot roast beef sandwich with gravy. They also can thicken soups or stews if that's what you're looking for. I haven't tried making them into fried mashed potato patties but that is something to try in the future.

I like this brand and I use quite a few of their products. Bought this because it is non GMO. If only, it was organic and glyphosate free it would be perfect (Hey Bob's are you noting this?). One 🌟 removed for that. People complain about runny or gummy potatoes. I had the same problem because I was trying to make them the way the Idohan brand does it in a bowl. If you follow Bob's directions make it on the stove in a pot, and don't over mix, and cover and let them sit for 2-3 minutes...they come out fluffy not runny or gummy. Not a product problem, but operator error. Some complain about blandness. Guess what, potatoes are naturally bland. That is the beauty of this product, you can season it to YOUR taste! No fake or imitation flavors! Great product!

I ordered too much.They taste great.They cook well great value.One bag cooks up a lot. Texture is good.Just adjust your water.

I bought these to keep on hand for when I have guess or when my family member wants mashed potatoes. I had quite a few family members over and I made these potatoes and they thought they were fantastic. I trust the company that makes them. They're easy to make and they are delicious. And the package makes quite a bit.
