It was made cheaply. The actual part that goes on the bolt is oversized. I had to grind it down to fit where it needed to go. That would not be so bad but the boat i used it on first was in the water. I had to go all of the way home, grind it, then go back to the boat. Blew well over an hour. Mainly my own fault for not looking first. Still, ticked me off though. Once again, you get what you pay for.

For all of us older guy and gals that like to work on cars and trucks, that have distributer, these are very helpful.

Makes tightening distributor much easier

Sometime just having the right tool for the job makes life much easier. I struggled for years with various wrenches and burning hands on a hot engine. Wish I had bought on of these 50 years ago. Perfect for my small block Chevy engine.

Better quality than I expected for the price. Has the two most common sizes and works well. This is definitely what anyone with a GM V-8 is looking for, probably most other domestic V-8 and V-6's as well. One neat trick is that you can use it as is (great to just temp tighten the Distributor while you check the timing) or you can break it down and use the half with the required wrench size on it and a socket wrench and extension to loosen or tighten down for good when you're done. Recommended

Always had issues with my dizzy shifting a little. With this tool there is no way it can. Use it with a 3/8 ratchet for better feel. Great item!!
