Niwaki Golden Spade Standard

Professional gardener. I use these spades all the time for work. My original one finally cracked across the blade after six years solid use digging, planting and transplanting. Sharp, strong and lightweight. I didn't hesitate on ordering a replacement. Old spade is still being used for rough jobs like mixing concrete. Highly recommended.

This is the second golden spade I have purchased. Not because there is anything wrong with the first one, which we have had for about 4 years, but because we use it so much that we have decided to get a second.It is light, sharp, and sturdy. It does everything you'd expect it to do. We love it.

I bought this spade for metal detecting as a ' rookie ' I hope I've done the right thing. It is certainly very well made and sturdy, It was recommended by a professional gardener who wouldn't use anything else.

Good sturdy spade with a pointed edge for hard ground. Soil does tend to stick to it, unlike the stainless steel spades, hence the 4 stars.
