WAY better than box store drain assembly
Easy to install and parts are great quality, includes all needed to replace old drains. Includes easy to read/follow instructions. These drains are an inch or so longer than normal drains, keep in mind pipe modifications may be needed. I only had to cut about 1 inch off plastic sink tailpiece pipe (existing plumbing piece). The strainer basket is great and easy to empty and clean. Stopper works like a charm. No complaints... nice quality, good price and came right to mailbox. Two thumbs up.

Best Sink Drain Assembly Ever!
I used this well-designed product after trying three different alternatives in the last few months. The other products were much more expensive but failed to deliver a solution that provided reliable drainage without clogging. My installation was complicated by having a fired clay sink with a larger than average thickness. Other solutions either didn't have enough threads to fully engage the drain assembly or were clogging frequently. This Kone sink drain assembly fixes that by providing a deep set of threads and having a large basket insert that allows the water to drain through while making it easy to scoop out and dump accumulated food debris. I may buy an extra one just to have on hand. Well done Kone!

Great quality
This is remarkably well-designed. I like how the deep strainer basket works. It’s simple to install. Everything that is needed is provided. Please note that because of the [excellent] feature of the deep housing, the drain pipes probably connect an inch or so lower than the cheap drains that you are replacing. So you may need to adjust the drain pipes - very simple to do.

Sleek and functional!
Absolutely love this drain! I love everything about it. It was easy to install, came with great instructions, it looks gorgeous with my new sink and faucet, and it was an amazing price! I love that the basket can hold lots of debris and that the stopper looks so beautiful. I don’t use a stopper often as I don’t fill my sink up very often since I use a dishwasher for most things, so I will change my review if there is any issue there.

Nice look, but...
I have a kitchen sink with 2 basins, one large and the other small. I have this Sink Drain Assembly Kit, Removable Deep Sink Strainer Basket installed in the smaller basin. I like the look of this sink drain, and its a good value for the low price, but the stainless steel is thin and eventually will rust. Also, the rubber gasket will wear out and cause the drain to leak into the cabinet. I replace this drain assembly about every 3 years. The process of replacing the drain is easy, so I don't mind having to do it every few years, but I'd suggest to anyone installing one or more of these drains to check under the sink periodically for water and install a liner or place a cat litter box or a shallow bucket under the drain to prevent damage to the cabinet when it eventually leaks. The installation instructions are incorrect in terms of orientation of the rubber and foam gaskets. The rubber gasket should be installed first (closest to the sink) with the foam gasket installed underneath. The foam gasket protects the rubber gasket from ripping when tightening down the plastic nut.

Fits well into thick porcelain sinks!
I rarely make recommendations on products or rate them, however I was so please with this purchase here you go:I had great difficulty finding a unit that properly fit my very old porcelain sink of 1-1/8 inches thickness at the drain. For those of you with the same problem, at 1-1/8 thickness the nut fully threaded with about 1 thread showing when tight. I was concerned about the plastic threads when I ordered it, but the unit is well constructed and the plastic threads are very strong at proper / normal torque. The plastic threads will never corrode, which for me, the original strainers metal nut caused the entire problem. It has been installed for over a month and I have had zero issues. The basket catches anything of size that would be of concern, yet drains well. The lid seals well.I cleaned everything up on the sink using powdered Bar Keepers Friend on the porcelain. I used WD-40 Specialist Silicone spray to lubricate the plastic threads on the strainer and nut. I used Oatey plumbers putty as one normally would. There are YouTube videos on applying plumbers putty properly. Use the correct spanner wrench on the nut!You must check to make sure these products are appropriate for use on your application / installation. If you buy one of these Kone strainers, I hope you are just as successful and just as pleased as I am!Roy S.
