I bought this for my Bearded Dragon. He LOVES basking outside in the natural sunlight. His harness lead is short, so I needed something to make it a little longer because I bake in the sun and he likes to take his sweet time roaming the yard. I chose this particular cable because it’s smooth and won’t stick to his scales, it’s super lightweight and bright. He can walk through the yard effortlessly and he gets the sense that he’s “free” and I’m not hovering over him. I did get the bright orange so I can see where he is from the porch, even when he lies down in the grass. I tie it to a tree so that he can roam as much of the yard that he wants, move to the the shade under the tree, or come back up on the porch with me. Definitely recommend if you are a reptile owner.

Works great. Easier to see. I had a mowing accident with the other one I had, which was opaque. My mower cut it, and I was lucky it did not slice open my leg or kill my Newfoundland. I encourage everyone to buy something with color just to be safe.

Got these to take the dogs on vacation and they worked great. I have a huge Akita and a German Shepard and there was no issues. I even use them to tie my goats out around out property and they hold them perfectly!!

I wouldn't recommend for small/ mid size dog. Doesn't seem it will hold up in the weather elements.

I LOVE the length so my dog has so much more room to roam and run, however the cord is pretty heavy for them to have to lug around let alone run with. I wish it was lighter but it served the purpose when I needed it.

It’s everything you expect from product description. On another note, if your pet is a very active pet, please beware that the line is Very thin (thus the light weight), making it very easy for your pet to tangle in it. Think of a water hose, the more rigid the hose the less it kinks. So, yes this line will tangle easily around the pet’s neck, even when using a chest harness. Don’t think “it’s only for 1hr outside, it’s good for him to run and play”. Use only under proper supervision. It’s light, thin, weather proof, and durable. It can become a great aid in the care of your pet, but it can also become the weapon to kill your pet.

So far this has been a very durable tie out. It works well to contain our 17lb dog. I really like the bright orange color because it stands out and makes it easier for us to spot and not trip over in the grass.

I have a 35kg husky who broke the catch off. She isn't generally a pully dog either but she did break this somehow. I only knew because she came and knocked at the door with her paw.

Absolute rubbish

I really like how strong this leash is. It’s long enough for my dog to mosey around but not long enough that it’s an issue when other people are around. My dog was able to bite off the plastic covers that are just under the clip, so that was disappointing they weren’t a little more stable and secure. So for me the durability wasnt an exact 5/5 but I do have to say, with the plastic cover gone, the leash is still holding up strong. I’m impressed!

This product is excellent at doing it’s designed to do; keep dogs from running away. I should also have a disclaimer that says something to the effect of...“If you have one end of this cable attached to a dog’s collar and the other end attached to an immovable object and the dog starts to chase after something, a car, a child, another dog, a ball, a wild animal, etc. your dog could be seriously injured if this cable reaches full length while your dog is running!”
