I like the pinpoint end and the variety of colours is a good deal. They write fairly small but this is useful for annotating books, especially those with thin pages. They are not see-through on paper but be careful when writing on sticky tabs because they can then smudge if you don't let them dry. They are a bit small so the grip isn't the best but they work well. I recommend these pens.

All in all, this is a great writing implement. That being said, with a few improvements it would be perfect!I am very particular about clean, fine lines, so these were an obvious choice. I've had great success with other Staedtler pens, so I wanted to give these a shot.They write well. The ink is consistent. The black is dark, the colors are vivid. I've read other complaints regarding the quality of the tip. I don't do a ton of writing, but after a few weeks, they still seem to be in new condition.If they made these pens a bit shorter (they are kind of long) and made the body metal, I think these would be the near-perfect pen! A retractable variety would be nice, too, since it's all too easy to lose caps.

Great pens. This is my third time ordering these kinds of pens. They write smooth and don't smudge. I will definitely order more in the future.

these pens do exactly what i bought them for. i have a wall calendar with smaller date boxes. regular pens are too wide and smudgy. these are perfect. i always appreciate Staedtler pens and pencils for their good quality. these are very very fine tipped.

I was trying to purchase the pigment liner and thought this was the same thing. It was not apparent to me that these are NOT waterproof and NOT archival quality. The colors were decent, but I found the barrel a bit small and hard to hold. Simply not right for my needs and I'm unsure what to do with them now.

Good value fine line pens.

I love that these don't bleed through my planner pages! I like to write with market style pens and most would bleed through. These are fine tip and the style I like but don't bleed through and make using the back side of the page hard.

One of the pens was dead. But the other was nice and smooth. I didn’t check the others. I guess it happens.
