Nice flat & clear ;license plate cover
This clear plastic license plate cover is sturdy, flat and not molded to fit around your license plate like some others. This is what I was looking for because with the molded type they don't fit within your license plate frame because it's to thick. This one is just a flat plastic frame that fit's over your license plate and also fit's behind the license plate frame perfectly.

3 months and still looks perfect!
I've had this on the front of my car for 3 months now and since the bug guts come right off during every car wash, it still looks brand new and makes my ride look the same!

Only last about 2 years before becoming cloudy.
IMO worth the money. They last about 2 years then starts to become cloudy. I just order new ones when the vehicle reg comes due every 2 years. Have to remove the cover to replace a sticker on plate anyway. Have them on 3 Vehicles.

Fasteners are plastic so no rust, but no nuts are furnished :(
What I like about this license plate shield:1. It's crystal clear2. The chrome frame that comes with it is made to fit properly3. My license plate fits inside an is not obstructed4. Everything including the mounting screws are plastic, so no rust to worry about5.I should also note that it came well packaged and damage free.What I do not like:1. The mounting fasteners do not include nuts for the machine style screws2. There is no information that I could find that tells me what diameter and thread count for the machine screws. (Having sized them, they are 6m x 1.0m.)The fact that they don't add something as inexpensive as a few nuts is frustrating as it creates yet another job for me. Having to locate and purchase some plastic nuts that are the proper size.Not even knowing it's durability as yet I've already deducted stars.Note to the Purveyors: Please don't burden your customers with additional tasks simply because they chose to use purchase your products. I know that you don't show nuts in your description, but now you are aware that they would be useful.

Brand name on plate cover
In the images it seems perfectly clear, in reality their brand name is engraved onto the bottom centre of the plate cover; disappointing.
