I did find that the sticky pad did not work as well as I had hoped, and that they would move down too far in my shoes, but I added some double sided sticky tape and that made them stay where I need them completely. The surprise was then that these worked better than the full length ones I had purchased for a different pair of shoes. These are more supportive and more comfortable than others!

I have average-height arches, but I over-pronate, have bunions, and a history of plantar faciitis - and these are vastly better than the expensive custom orthotics prescribed to me by podiatrists over the years! I'm able to walk my usual 4-7 miles a day in these without foot pain, and - along with choosing shoes with sufficient toe room - have had no worsening of my bunions in years because of these magical insoles! Because they're very stiff and very thin, they can be used to add support to both shoes with *no* arch support, *and* ones with *insufficient* arch support (too low, too squishy, etc.), making extended standing *much* more comfortable, while the metatarsal pad and 3/4 length allow your toes and forefoot to flex while walking (provided your shoes are flexible enough), which helps keep your foot muscles in shape and helps prevent faciitis. I like to switch mine out between different shoes throughout the week for foot health. These are a really high quality insole: my last pair lasted through 10+ years of daily use before the heel pads began to fall out and the leather began to fray. And I've never needed to deodorize or clean them - the leather and plastic naturally resist odors. They do have a couple of limitations, though: 1) Because they are stiff and flat, they won't work in high heels that put your heel on a "shelf" above the rest of your foot. That said, I've worn them regularly in shoes with 1-2" heels and they work fine. 2) While they *do* come with a small adhesive pad in the heel to adhere them to your shoe if you wish, be aware that choosing to use it will *drastically* shorten their lifespan. The adhesive pad is directly attached to a foam heel pad that is intended to protect the bone of your heel from pain and the development of bone spurs. In time, the adhesive (if used, particularly in an open shoe like a sandal or a slip-on) will pull this pad apart from the rest of the insole, making them much less comfortable... and also no longer adhered to your shoe.

Will never need to buy any PHARMACY cutters again. These are the best I've seen. Sharp and stainless steel. Bought hubby a pair for himself. Comes in two sizes....

These work well, if the little button of sticky stuff stays stuck where it’s supposed to be. My first set did well. But my second set did not. I don’t know why they use such a small area of adhesion. If it doesn’t stay stuck, you will be fighting an ongoing problem, and it doesn’t need to be that way. Sigh.

Sizing is weird (see explanation below), but so far, so good. These inserts fit nicely in my smaller Converse style tennis shoes. They are too wide for my Mary Jane styled crocs. I think they are mostly suitable for casual sneakers, loafers and flats. For the narrower shoe, you have to get the Pedag 123 De Luxe (didn't like the longways arch support) or the Pedag Comfort (which I think I WILL like. I plan to have at least one of each of those styles: 1 for my smaller shoes, the other for my larger shoes. For full-on athletic shoes, I think the Viva full length inserts would be best. These 3/4 length ones allow you to keep your toe room and fit some shoes that otherwise wouldn't have worked.I am a ladies size 10 (sometimes 9.5) and I bought the Women's size 12, because I read the review complaints and it sounds like people who never figured out that these run smaller than they say are the ones who hated them, and the people who liked them, still acknowledged having bought a larger size or having had to return the first set. So if you're a woman, I'd say to buy a couple of sizes larger than your actual size. I tried this with the Pedag Deluxe (like the comfort) and that same logic DOES NOT follow. The Pedag De Luxe and Comforts having accurate American sizing, or are 1 size too small at worst. These Holiday are 2 to 3 sizes smaller than they say. Somehow the conversion from European to American didn't work out.So if you want to buy them and like them, order larger and you'll be satisfied.

Love these inserts! No others will fit along with my foot in anything but a wide tennis shoe. This insert fits in nice boots or even pumps! Obviously you shouldn’t take long walks in heals even with this insert, but it releases the pressure and allows you to walk from the car to the restaurant looking good! So nice not to be limited to tennies!

Muy comodas y no agregan mucho volumen, yo las puse en zapatos de vestir y quedaron muy bien. La piel y el acabado es de muy buena calidad. Muy recomendables, solo asegurense de elegir el tamaño correcto. Aunque se pueden intercambiar tienen un adhesivo para dejarlas fijas, yo voy a comprar mas para tenerlas para cada par de zapatos.
