Float Needle valve works properly
Ove the last 11 days I have purchased 5 Carburetor for for a 6.5 HP briggs horizontal shaft motors, the first 4 had the same problem, installed, easily started, ran well, shut down motor fuel poured out of the air intake manifold. The first 2 carbsI removed and returned to Amazon for full refund, the third I removed bowl, float and needle valve and replaced, opened fuel line and valve worked well until I started the motor and ran for a while, shut down, same problem. On the 4th carb same as above, I removed bowl slightly tweaked the tab to shut needle valve more secure. Started motor, ran tiller for about an hour, no leak, next day started and ran tiller after shutting down the I had the same problem. Returned carb and purchased this carb, (Excellent) product, tilled for about an hour after installing and then an hour later ran for a long period of time, still no problems "Parise God" My suggestion,-- I believe all the (carb packages) that come with a lot of crap such as air filter, fuel line, shutoff valve, spark plug and numerous other stuff all have defective carbs.--- This carb must have better quality control as well as a different fuel inlet port, I have noticed that all the carbs with metal line into the carb body are defective. This carb has a plastic inlet that makes a direct rt angle., I realize this is not the problem it's just fair warning when deciding which one to purchase note the plastic inlet carbs I have found do not have a problem. This is all food for thought, I'm just thankful that the carbs were very easy to install. (With His Blessings Jim

Had to bore out one of the bolt holes as it was a little to small.Other than that bolted right on and fired in 1 pull. Throttle smooth all throughout!Great deal and very comperable to the factory carb.
