It works as claimed on old truck
My daily driver truck is over twenty years old. It has over 180k miles. We take care of each other. I have always attempted to take great care of her and in turn she's still very reliable. In the attempt to keep it running properly I've been adding Seafoam (one ounce SF per quart of oil) to the crankcase about 100-150 miles prior to an oil change to keep the valve train cleaner per advise from some old timers who know how to properly maintain engines. Once the odometer rolls another 100 or so miles I've drained the old oil while it's warm and refill with fresh synthetic high-mileage oil (high-mileage oil supposedly has extra additives to keep seals fresher). The last time I planned on changing my oil I added the 1oz/1qt Seafoam. I then got too busy and did not change it right away. After about 300 miles of driving the truck after adding the Seafoam I noticed an oil leak at the rear main seal area. I immediately suspected that the Seafoam solvent did exactly as it was supposed to do: clean up and dissolve old oil crud and grunge. Some of this crud was probably around the rear main seal area keeping that old seal from leaking. Like many who work on their own vehicles I resorted to YTube to get ideas to remedy the fresh oil leak. After watching many videos (some from seamingly honest mechanics) I ordered the parts needed to replace the failing seal. I also discovered many who claim they have had good success with a seal-refreshioning product called ST-205 made by ATP. I decided to order a couple of bottles of that too. See, the thing about older vehicles is that, in my experience, once a repair requires removing several components to access one that needs repaired or replaced sometimes you end up going all parts-cannon on it. Rather than fixing just the one issue you discover that by simply removing components you end up damaging other seals, gaskets, parts, etc. or things don't seem to go back just right. The temptation then is to open the billfold and attempt to do the "right" thing and replace anything suspect to failure. This is expensive, very expensive. So, I know that my initial reaction to the cost of ST-205 was like, "Woah, this stuff is costly," doing the in-depth seal replacement could be way more ouchy to the balance ledger. So, after receiving the ST-205 miracle juice and the parts to replace the rear main seal I added the recommended seal juice to the crankcase after the oil change. I then drove 150 miles to help a family member out. My truck remained in their driveway for three straight days not being used or started. I was traveling with the family member in their vehicle. Later that week I was about to start the truck and start the 150-mile trip for home. I checked the surface of the driveway under the truck for any oil drips. None. I checked the oil level on the dipstick. Perfect. After a month and a half and about 1400 miles since adding the ST-205 the truck has not leaked oil at all. At 183k miles she does use a little bit but oil is not leaking from the engine. I am happy with the ATP ST-205. It worked as claimed. The new rear main seal parts are now on a shelf in the garage whenever they are needed. If the ST-205 stopped a rear seal leak I can only hope that having it in the old truck is refreshing all the oil seals extending the entire truck's overall dependability. I would definitely recommend this stuff. Thanks ATP for manufacturing a good product as a reasonable price.

I was skeptical about using "snake oil" but it does work
I was never a big believer in using additives as a cure for automotive issues but after some prodding by a friend, gave this a shot and it worked. The vehicle was an older car with over 250K miles on it and it had developed a slow oil leak that I suspected was the rear main seal. While the car ran great, it wasn't worth the what it would have cost me to pull the engine and relace the seal but it was making a mess in the driveway and forcing me to add oil between changes. I added this to my oil per the instructions and the leak stopped. I wasn't holding my breath and would have bet that it would have just leaked out with the oil but I ended up being pleasantly surprised. This time I'm going to use it in my boat. The engine has developed a leak that I think located on the front timing cover. It's a pretty severe leak and I do intend to fix it but for the moment I want to see if this stuff will help slow it down until I can get to it. Additives such as this have limitations to what they can cure and my bet is that this leak is too great for this to stop it but for the price it's worth giving it a shot.

miracle cure for a Mercedes rear main seal oil leak.
This is the miracle cure that you have been looking for. I had a rear main seal leak on a mercedes s500 and this crazy liquid stopped the leak. It wasn't able to cure the rocker cover gasket leak but it did cure the expensive to fix rear main seal leak. I would recommend this product, it saved me $100's if not $1000's. I drove the car approx 19k miles in 12+ months and the leak didn't come back.

leaking bottle
one of the bottles seems to be leaking inside of the manufacturer package. inside the manufacturer package you can smell the chemical and visually see a light discoloration tint as the chemical saturated the white cardboard. im not sure how much is wasted. didnt feel like returning the double pack as im not sure exactly how much leaked out. leaking bottle seems almost full

Best Product Ever AT-205 RE-SEAL
AT-205 Re-Seal stop leak !Used on my 2009 Ford SUV . First time I bought I added only one bottle . I should have used both . After oil & filter changed I start my SUV let run for 5-15 min. Depending on outdoor temperatures. Add to your oil and go for 30-60 min drive . Longer the better! We get cold winters in Alberta & first time I tried I didn’t drive enough the first few days ! 2nd try I had motor warm added both bottles & drove on highway an hour , after approx 300 km later my SUV ran like new ! Keeps all rings, rubber gaskets and seals lubricated , had P0304 & was worried piston ring needed replaced . Had fuel slowly going in my oil from misfires. Oil leak from oil pan gasket! I was told always add to warm motor after oil change and drive vehicle min 30 min ! Longer the better ! No leaks & SUV runs perfect! Best product I’ve tried a few & AT-205 RE-SEAL worth every cent ! I can’t remember who tested this product on you tube , will update this review with You Tube Video name ! Amazon only sells this. Haven’t ever seen in any stores in Alberta! 5+ STARS ! I have no leaks & use now only on bottle every time I change my oil. Update, with Penzoil Platinum synthetic oil only use half a bottle to keep seals, rings, in good shape! Amazing Product! Thanks Scotty! Use on all rubber in a spray bottle as well. It's a product we now always have some at home! My husband, kids, use it as well now!

This will save you $$$ in the long run
This is one of the best rubber and gasket restorer thus the reseal part of its name. It has many uses and can be used with rubber bushing to prolong its life and prevent cracking. It will help with other rubber parts that harden and dried out but not yet cracked and restore it to its former glory.
