A little piece of heaven
If you have OCD, then you understand the need for massive organization. Blankets in a linen closet are great, but comforters (and down comforters especially) take up a LOT of room when just folded and stuck on a shelf. Not anymore!! I bought the XL and fit two king size down comforters in it. I have a plug in vacuum, so all the air got sucked out and they sit very nicely at the bottom of my linen closet waiting patiently to be used next winter.

Good vacuum bags, but not great
These bags work well and are of typical quality, i.e. they will probably wear down as they get folded and wrinkled and will eventually develop holes and not seal, which is fine for the price. IF you're using these for long term storage they might last a life time, but I also like to use these for travel which means they get wrinkled and folded a lot and wear down pretty fast. For travel I lay on them to depress the air, and the valve placement on these isn't ideal for that but it still works just fine. The size is moderate compared to others I've used and could hold 3-4 jackets or 2 blankets of moderate thickness. I'm giving 4 stars because the valve placement and durability could be better.

Easy to use, space saver!
These worked great for packing a TON of clothes for a trip to Hawaii using just my carry on bag! I brought a spare for dirty clothes . Recommend!!

There Are Better Options
I bought these to experiment with storage solutions to our frequently flooding basement (6" of water =no fun). We had some things stored in plastic totes, but there was mold inside some of the totes. I wanted to reduce the amount of space the kids' clothes took up in each tote to try to get more clothes in the totes at the same time as eliminating the risk of mold/mildew on the clothes. This product does what it advertises - it vacuum seals clothes and reduces the amount of space the clothes take up. However, the amount of space it frees is minimal. You must fold the clothes meticulously even so that the bag reduces evenly. After being vacuum sealed the bag is ROCK HARD and there is unused space between the sealed bags that is unusable and inefficient. And I can barely fit any more clothes in the same tote than when I just folded the clothes and squished them in the tote. I imagine this would also be the case for fitting these in a suitcase… better to just roll and squish the clothes in the space without the vacuum seal bags inflexibility. I then ordered these large zip lock bags (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XBDG2ZL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), which are WAY less money. I still had to meticulously fold and pack the bags, but I can get out almost the same amount of air as these vacuum sealed bags by kneeling on the bags before zipping them up. And there is just enough air left in the bags to make them flexible enough to squish together and fill nooks and crannies. I did have a couple of them rip on me when they were very full, but for the price, it is worth it.

Invaluable for travel packing.
Used to keep clothing dry in my backpack when travelling overland. The vacuum packing also means that I'm able to fit mor into the bag.

Hardly fits full size comforter
I bought these to condense my comforters. It is nearly impossible to get them inside. Felt like I was fighting someone. Sitting with my knees on top of the blanket to squish the end of the folded blanket into the opening of the bag then comes the part that is like changing a pillow case from hell. I am 31 years old. I feel like I'm 80 after three blankets two successful one I am declaring a failure after what feels like a 30 minute wrestle. It was so frustrating I felt the need to write this review immediately after my defeat. Use this size for clothes or throw blankets, maybe a twin size. Learn from my mistake. :'(
