Majic30679 Accelerator Hardener, 1/2 pint, Clear

This adds considerably to the cost of paint, but the film is much improved and not so long drying. Without it, the paint loses gloss before long. It is hard to not notice the improvement.

Great product

Majic catalyst has been working very well for me. I’ve been using it with rustolium enamel paint. Mix exactly as instructed at 16:1 ratio and the paint hardens to not soft to fingernails in 24 hours.

It works fine, speeds up dry time,and paint gains hardness from the normal pt to a gallon mix. There are better ,but so far (from what I have seen) better can cost a bit more.

Arrived faster than delivery estimate. Noticeable improvement in drying time (using 4:3:1 for paint:acetone:hardener) and had a smooth, resistant finish.

First time I used this in a HVLP gun . The finish was absolutely awesome! I used a Rustoleum paint on wood . Mixed the paint at 4:3:1/2 parts of the hardener . I will never spray without this stuff again . Nuff said !

This is a great product and turns regular rustoleum into an even more durable, near automotive quality, paint. I use this in conjunction with an HVLP spray gun and have had fantastic results. The ratio I have fount to work really well is a 10:2:1 of rustoleum, odorless mineral spirits, and this hardener. I have done an enclosed 20' horse trailer, all my patio furniture, and other smaller items with this combination. It bonds very well, lays flat, and is a noticeably harder finish.

This is my first time using a cataylst. I used it with oil based paint for custom signs I craft. It does exactly what it says! I found the price to be very reasonable! I would recommend! Im going to try on Oil Varnish next!
