I’m one who doesn’t care about cost as long as I get what I’ve paid for. I didn’t with the 3 products I have purchased from Madison Braids. I did not purchase these together but gave Madison Braids the benefit of the doubt and kept trying only to repeatedly receive an inconsistent product of consistently poor quality.1. Top Knot: $28-Cheaply made. Wefts sewn onto craft store elastic, tied at ends. Ive seen better at the flea market.-Black elastic on Dark Blonde highlighted hair? No visible black elastic in their pic/description?-Began falling apart after ONE use. Stitching unraveled, wefts completely fell away from elastic.2. Halo: $38 - Began falling apart after ONE use. Fabric tape at ends not wrapped neatly/in line and started peeling off with hair then popping out.3. LuLu: $35 -Haven’t worn this yet because the elastic band is yellow (maybe for light blondes), not the nude/taupe of the end pieces shown in their pic/description and on the very same braid and/or the other braid above in very same hair color (Highlighted). The yellow does not blend at all with the colors in the hair as the nude/taupe does. Again, poor attention to quality.If I order several braids in the same exact color, I’d expect the products received to be the same.If I pay top quality prices for a top quality product, I expect to receive that.These products are a huge disappointment. The price lends the impression that these are somehow better than similar and far less expensive products that have been available for some time online and for as long as I can remember in local beauty supply stores.Buy those instead. If you pay $10 for something that you know you’ll only get a few uses out of, you’re ok with it. When you pay $40 for something that's advertised as being “Worn every day!” you expect a higher quality product.Madison Braids didn’t re-invent the hairpiece wheel, they just convinced us they did with their ample FaceBook ads.

Most importantly, this looks and feels amazing! It turned out to be a perfect match for my hair and had much more dimension than expected. As I a transitioning from dyed (dark brunette) hair to my natural color, this conceals almost all of the dyed hair (at almost 7 months grow out- about 4 inches of ‘silver’) All of my early apprehension aside- I love this so much that I am purchasing a second. I would be absolutely devastated if I suddenly found myself without this option for my hair. It is also worth mentioning that while there are many other sellers out there with similar products- the color on those is not what I am looking for- some are gray/blonde, etc...- this truly matches my natural hair.

I have only had mine for a few days, but am very happy with it! Such an easy way to do something special with your hair, and it only takes a couple minutes! I just put my own hair back in a knot, then wrap this around a couple times, pull out a few of my own strands and it's done! So far it stays well in my hair too. I have yet to wear it all day, so I'll see if I need to pin it in at all, but so far it seems to stay well. May colors to choose from but I got the"highlighted" and I love the contrast! Will update my review after using it for a longer period of time

I wish I could post a pic here of what I was sent. I will try to post in the video/unboxing section. Product arrived in crumpled bag and appeared to be a return. Top knot hair was matted and disheveled compared to as pictured. Loose elastic ends hanging out of middle of band, exposed seams in the wig portion. Don’t want to return because it’s not worth a trip to the post office during pandemic. I would recommend avoiding and finding a better product on wish for $10.

I loved the color and the feel of the bun but as the weather became warmer and I started to use it when I pulled my own hair into a bun it fell apart. This was not extensive use. It seems there is one long weft wound around an elastic band. The more I tried to rewind it the worse it got. Hopefully they will replace it.

I have purchased these topknots from Madison braids directly before and have always been satisfied (they are my favorite hair filler bands). What happened??. What was sent to me was unlike what I’ve purchased before. The hair was at least 50% thinner in bulk than my old one, a chunk of the hair was not attached to the band (it was loose inside the packaging), and the band was frayed and barely connected. Additionally the band was connected in a really twisted fashion, meaning it will show very easily (it will be hard to conceal). I will be immediately returning this purchase. Really disappointed in Madison Braids.

I ordered "salt & pepper" but ended up with "skunk stripe". Unless I can comb this thoroughly to evenly distribute the colors, I'm throwing it away. Don't know how the other colors compare, but I'm disappointed.EDIT: It cannot be brushed into being usable. It was falling apart like others have said.

I have typically loved my Madison Braids top knot in Golden Red because it’s the only accurate red hair color match of all manufacturers.My problem with my recent order is that the quality of the products has gone way down hill. I couldn’t use 2 of the 3 top knots as the hair wasn’t wrapper around the elastic well enough so it looked super fake on my head.I’m hoping this is a one time miss on their part so I will order one more time in the hopes the quality is as it was previously.

A bit shiny but dry shampoo took care of that. The highlighted top knot was a lot lighter than I expected but I kept it anyway as I may add more highlights to my hair. My hair is quite long so it is a bit tricky to do a messy bun.

Arrived 3 weeks late and it a total mess. Looks like this top knot was used and abused before I received it. While I like the idea of it this particular brand just isn’t worth the money.

Really disappointed !!! This thing look like an old lady wig...and as you can see chunk of hair are falling off !!!I specifically ordered for Madisons because I thought quality would be better... well not really...

I have had people shocked that this is a hair extension, they thought it was real...colour and quality is excellent!

Quality is terrible
